Jeannelle Tillery no! You also have to look at the length, thickness of the hair. If she had this same style done in the states, say in the city it would cost $200.00. I get mine done but I live in the country. I get a silk press. I don’t pay no more than $90. I always add extra for a tip. If I went to the city, I would be looking at $180+.

@@taylerwithane cool !! Which one is better in your opinion?coz I had it on Dec 2018 and now it's Oct 2019 and my hair is still straight and sleek, which us surprising as summer here in Tokyo is hellishly hot and humid, made me wash my hair everyday..yet my hair is still incredibly smooth. Sumida Ryogoku That’s awesome! I actually prefer the magic straight perm. It’s a lot cheaper and my hair is much straighter after washing it and during the super humid summers in Korea. The Brazilian Blowout couldn’t compete lol. Maybe it’s a different keratin treatment than you got it in Japan.

@taylerwithane
@taylerwithane 4 жыл бұрын
He really did! To be honest, it was kind of a gamble whenever I tried looking for a new hairstylist. With this one, I only had one review to go off of from a person who didn't have as thick of hair as I did, so I got really lucky it worked out so well. Usually you can find more hairstylists that have experience doing curly/wavy hair near U.S. army bases (such as in Itaewon in Seoul) or in other foreigner-friendly areas.

How would you compare this to a traditional relaxer? I've been natural for 10 years and considering magic vs relaxer. How often do you use heat on your hair?
@taylerwithane
@taylerwithane 5 жыл бұрын
Tanaya Clark I much prefer the magic straight perm to a traditional relaxer. You don’t get the burning as you do with a relaxer and I find my hair is much straighter and softer. PLUS water and humidity have less effect on your hair. I love when I wash my hair that it takes so much less effort to comb through, dry, and straighten with the magic straight perm. As far as how often I use heat on my hair, usually only after I wash it (every 1-2 weeks) or if I need to straighten out some dents every so often.

Man...it turned out nice and the quick version of the Brazilian blowout would cost me 125 dollars and my hair isn’t even long!

Omg so it's not a relaxer??? What's the difference between them? And I just want to know what your curl pattern was before all of this?

It's a different kind of hair straightening treatment. It uses a thermal reconditioning process and lasts longer than a relaxer. Also, it doesn't burn and your hair blow dries straight, which is amazing. My curl pattern is 3C and I actually just did the big chop, so I no longer get these treatments anymore.

Gorgeous style!! I would definitely love to see you do a product review of Straight Silk Spray with Argan Oil by JuniorLabs. It maintains my hair silky smooth

OK Im new to your channel and I see you have other videos where it looks like you've done the "Big Chop". Is this the reason? Did your hair not do too well with the KMSP? Thank you .

/Is this the kind of perm that still needs to be gone over with a straightener after wash day?
@taylerwithane

It does, but with this perm I noticed my hair was a lot more straight after blow drying than a regular perm or Brazilian blowout.
