I went to Korea in February this year, and the influencers do tend to be a bit crazy. I know for a fact that some of them were not even Korean, just visiting (languages spoken etc). I hard agree weird experience in a cafe- a woman and her parents were filming every inch and my family and I were like battling to order and not get hit by a camera 😭 we also went to 별마동 도서관 (Starfield library) and some definitely non-Korean influencers were absolutely wild there. I’m talking murderous glances and encroaching on people’s space. The mom was even the scariest taskmaster lol

Once, the owner of a hotel in Kranjska Gora (Slovenia) asked me what I had already visited in her country. When I mentioned the loooong list she said - Wow! I haven't been to half of these places in my entire life! 😃😃😃

To extend the discussion about vloggers and social media...this is from reliable source, some social media influencers even go to counseling if they see the number of likes and views decrease because they consider these as affirmation. Another point, even things like sharing pic of us with friends for me can only be done after getting consent from all in the pic. Blurred peoples face...hmmm in my country it associates with someone doing wrong/something illegal 😅 so i always feel weird seeing that however yes its privacy culture and so on. Need to accomodate.

I can´t imagene how unconfortable could be have someone next to you vlogging, come on, we are talking about a restaurant, If I go to a restaurant is like to enjoy the food and maybe share a good moment with friends, talking and eating, have someone recording around is like ... "we shouldn't make noise"

It's a new custom. As long as they are not too exaggerating their voice and they respect the food, the restaurant staffs and other customers, I think it's alright

Back on your podcasts from a long break! Not sure if this is a new move or has been happening for a while, but, while I enjoy y’all’s content, I find it less enjoyable to hear political discussions! I know it was very short, but tbh I tend to want to hear politics when I want to - and I search it out. And generally from political based organizations/people. I don’t enjoy it added in without being referred to in the title! Maybe yall can refer to it in the titles and/or time stamp it. Thanks for another fun episode.

The first one regarding privacy, if im in like public space like train station with hundred others, i dont mind being in if im so small its barely recognisable. Or if im blurred. The way Areyoukiddingtv do things is one of the ones I’m fine with. But in cafes or restaurant, They need the permission of those place and fellow customers if they get in the frame.

I work in customer service and sometimes people basically shove their cameras in my face cuz they’re vlogging and it’s so obnoxious. I don’t mind being in a video if you ask for my consent, but shoving the camera in my face and not thinking about the people around you is a d*** move. Great video guys!
