I'm currently a senior in college in the States...so I get the standard pot noodles usually, and I'll put an egg in for protein. Today was a rough day and on break from work I realized I was out, and my roommate was like, "I have some ramen you can have," and literally handed me a Korean instant noodle pack, and when I tell you it made my day, I am not exaggerating. I'd never had them before but I've obviously seen them tons on this channel, and I was just over the moon. It lived up to the expectations for sure, but I had to go back to work before I could eat much and ended up having to reheat it, which was sad. But it was a good day because of ramen

Im currently an international student studying in the uk and i always try my best to search for korean, indian, chinese sauces and products a lot more and my flatmates see me cook something they say "omg thats so good i wish i had that" when its literally so easy to.the local students in the uk tend to make like a very basic british meal or like just a toastie for breakfast n tea or coffee idk they just never really attempt to make simple asian dishes at home sometimes so its nice to introduce them to some snacks that ive brought from home n stuff its really fun seeing their interaction cus it either goes really well or doesn't and thats exactly why i like Korean englishmen as well❤❤

honestly, seeing both Armand and Max again after their Korea Trip and seeing them again now in College, really shows how much their bond has grown. And to now seeing these new uni students being introduced to the channel, i definitely think that they'll explore a lot of what kind of food/culture that both Josh and Ollie would bring to them, and who knows maybe at some point in the future, take the uni students to Korea and even bring along Max and Armand again for their 2nd trip back.

@@rosamelietto I first tried it many years ago; a waiter effectively dared me to do it. I knew what it was and was more or less prepared, so I tasted it and shrugged and looked at him like, “Okay.” Of course I thought it was awful, but it was such an important part of Japanese culture and cuisine that I felt I needed to give it another try. I did eventually find another restaurant that stuffed natto inside fried tofu skin, and that I liked.

In Korea, It is a BASIC MANNERS to "NOT MAKE a sound" when eating noodles. As mukbangs in which peole eat noodles out loud have gained popularity, more people make sounds when eating, but it is STILL NOT MANNERS TO MAKE SOUND Eating Food like noodles in everyday life definitely. well, earlier videos did have multiple young women, including uni students, friends and spouses. They got Rev Chris and his wife to Korea on a date trip. And they tried eel there. The word on the street is that is how one of their children was conceived. lol Eel gives you stamina! 😂

Seeing the boys now as College men is wow, feels so surreal! And the new students as well, the way each and everyone were so open to trying all of the food! Oh and Jackie Boy and Freya, Izzy and Conrad were such a cute duo to watch! Freya is my new favourite person! Oh and Camille and Daniela were such sweethearts, I loved their voices, I could hear them talk for hours together! Totally loved this new video!

It is quite crazy to me how the concept of using rice to eat with noodles is new to some people because all my life I’ve eaten everything with rice. Absolutely everything. I’m not even Korean I’m Filipino and even I eat noodles with rice. To hear some of the people in the video be baffled by the idea has me baffled! For anyone who hasn’t tried rice and noodles combo you have got to try it, it’s so good and in my opinion, it makes that boring ramen meal more satisfying to your stomach!

It constantly amazes me on your channel here how little some people eat korean (or maybe Asian food in general) in UK. The fact that they don't know kimchi is korean or that its mind boggling to eat is actually unbelievable to me, something like "you're just pulling my leg with a script aren't you" type idea. That being said, I always love how open minded the tasters are and I've continually loved seeing their journey in trying Korean food.

Well we don’t have many Korean immigrants that’s why! You basically only find Korean food in certain areas of London and it’s pretty expensive. We have loads of Chinese, Thai and Malaysian restaurants.

맞아요..!! 그리고 진짜 어이가 없었던건 소리를 내서 먹어야 맛있다고 주장하는 사람이 있습니다. 어릴때부터 소리내서 먹는건 예절이 아니라고 배웠는데 한번은 소리나게 먹었는데 도대체 무슨 차이인지.. 똑같아요 맛은 혀로 느끼지 소리로 느끼는게 아닌거 같네요.. 또 면치기를 안하면 면을 어떻게 먹냐고 하는데 그럼 우리는 왜 젓가락을 쓰죠? 그냥 손으로 면 한점 입에 넣고 후루룩하지 그래요..ㅋㅋ 하도 매체에서 소리내서 먹는게 맛있는거라고 하니까 다들 그렇게까지 먹는거 못 들어주겠지만 이해는 해보려고 하는데 문제는 면치기에 쩝쩝거리는 것까지.. 아휴 먹는 행동에서 사람이 보이는게 맞는 듯 싶네요.. 물론 그게 다는 아니겠지만요!

영상에 잘못 나온게 있어 혹여나 영상을 시청하신 외국분들이 오해하실 것 같습니다. 7:33 에 한국에서는 면을 먹을때 후루룩 소리를 내고 먹어도 된다고 하셨는데 한국의 음식 예절에서도 면을 먹을때는 소리를 내고 먹는 것은 예절에 어긋난 행동입니다. 한국 연예인들이 방송에서 면치기라며 소리를 내고 먹는게 방송에 나와 아무렇지 않고 적응이 되어 그렇지 실제 음식예절에서는 어긋난 행동에 속합니다.

American here. When I lived in South Korea for three years, cheese ramyeon was my go to!!!!!! Loved it! Ordered it and it was delivered in a massive bowl with melted cheese on top!!! Live in Busan, which btw is a must visit, and Pyeongtaek-si, just south of Seoul.
