Just wanted to point out, at 3:10, it's not just a Buddhist greeting, it is also called namaste, an Indian greeting. But it's okay, there are similarities in both and we are never too old to learn. Great video btw! Loved it!

Yes ofcourse!!!! My yoga teacher always end with namaste(is it ok to say bye with namaste as well??) Thank you for mentioning😄😄
@niharicaverma3 жыл бұрын
@@KelseytheKorean Thank you for noticing 😊 Yes, I think it's okay to say Namaste as bye. Plus Namaste is a greeting so it can be said both as hi and bye. Fun fact: The younger generation in everyday usage mostly use Hi and Hello but with most elders like grandparents, we say Namaste or any other regional traditional greeting

Isn't the positioning of the hands like this also used in prayers in some religions? I see this a lot in the west at least, also when people give thanks or ask for forgiveness. Even in text messages the "🙏 " appears a lot.

Yeees! I'm Taiwanese and I was shocked when Koreans told me they only ate seaweed with rice. Growing up in Taiwan seaweed snacks were sold in large plastic buckets (the same that those konjac fruit jellies are in) and my brother and I would fight over them. Just goes to show that not all Asian countries share the same norms.

Lol. I also love eating seaweed by itself as a snack/ potato chip alternative. I think that's how seaweed was introduced to me over a decade ago. But not for dieting, just for taste. However, recently, a Korean American youtuber I follow started eating seaweed with avocado slices dipped in soy sauce and I tried it. It tastes like you're eating avocado rolls (popular vegan American sushi) but without the rice which is less heavy and less work to put together. So it's a perfect snack if you like those flavors. It's like lazy sushi and I really like it.

In the UK we pay a monthly tax to our government which covers household waste collection. It rotates fortnightly; one week its recyclable waste and the following it's general waste for landfill. We have special bins provided to us. Kitchen food scraps are collected weekly and composted. If we overfill our bins, some areas you have to buy special bags for collection. People complain but wouldn't use a public bin instead (not that fly tippers don't exist, just that it's rare). The tax we pay is dependant on the size of your property. We also pay extra to have garden waste taken away, around £40 a year. The collection for that is fortnightly. In my area they also take electrical waste and cloth waste seperately too.

You should definitely make a video about cringe interracial/international relationships. Meaning your thoughts about it and reacting to couple channels. I often notice that foreign girls tend to lower their standards when it comes to Korean men. For instance, many couples do a dressing "scandalously" prank and the Korean guy is often very sexist and tells her that she shouldn't go out or that her clothes are too inappropriate, even when it's literally clothes that teens would wear. Or people glamorizing toxic international relationships where both partners obviously have two different mindsets and they ignore it.

There are a lot of trash cans on the streets, they are literally everywhere, but you still have to pay for trash you throw away at home, it's more expensive if you don't segregate the trash. On the other hand, there are almost none of the trash cans on the streets, maybe sometimes near a bus stop, but there are always trash cans in the railway station and you also have to pay and segregate the trash at home
