Some men have bad experiences because the place is very sensitive and you have to be careful. Many women do not understand that balls are not tennis balls and should be touched gently and carefully. Fun fact, it’s a huge misconception that it’s cleaner to shave. Hair down there is there for a reason. Hair protects your genitals from bacteria a lot better and keeps it „save“. So not shaving is technically cleaner than shaving. But everybody got a preference.

True. Though the opposite is for me. I don’t like hair down there bc I have pcos and I prefer to wax. When I have hair, the chances of having vaginal acne or whatever is higher for me bc of the weird ass humidity and hormones going on for me. So yeah, if you think its not for you then its ayt but if its also for you then its also fine

Considering that we wear and change underwear on a daily basis, I doubt that would still be considered true. Not saying that shaving is "cleaner", but most of us have very well protected genitals.

Yes. But letting it grow too long can be an issue too, like it can irritate the skin or accumulate stuff and it being difficult to get rid of after. I usually do sugaring there and leave always some hair still.

That's correct. Thing is, shaving leaves tiny wounds (the skin is not as smooth as it seems to be) which make it way more probable for bacteria to affect these areas. Hence doctors - especially urologists - usually advise against shaving.

I tried to shave my ass once, and when the hair was growing back, the hair from one buttcheek would stab the other cheek, and walking was a nightmare, so it's a no from me.

I'm a 60 year old woman who learned how to shave/trim my pubic hair in 1982 (I think before waxing became popular or it was really talked about) from my Iranian/Persian ex-husband for cleanliness during sex. Personally, to avoid stubble which causes itching, etc., I only shave the lower half of the pubic area where (for me because I'm not a hairy person) the stubble in softer, so isn't as irritating and still feels clean. Also, as Kelsey, David, & Danny talked about, sex is better... for many reasons. Getting hair in your mouth is gross🤢and vomit inducing 🤮. Unfortunately for my ex, he was extremely, extremely hairy, like most Persians, so shaving was uncomfortable which kept me away from most oral sex.

Many men have as much hair on their backs as their chest. Persian women use many ways to remove hair from bleaching to threading. FYI I google'd Persians to verify their ethnicity and according to Wikipedia Iranians are not Asians. Honestly not sure what it is ???

In my country Brazil everyone kinda expects the other person to shave, wax or at least have down there trimmed . Of course some people prefer to let it grow but is hard since is a tropical country and people like to wear small bikinis. I'm Brazilian and I think it has something to do with the misconception that hair increases body odor. Like people here associate having hairy armpits with bad smell (when what truly causes the bad smell is bacteria, not hair), so they may thing the same misconception applies to genitalia.
