The 4-man pushup was something we did in highschool gym class in the 90s.

FYI.. these are not the normal way's the military train. Some of these are quite bizarre and very dangerous to try for the average soldier.

Spoken like someone that’s never served a single day in the Marines. 😂 Have a seat, pal.

@@fellowdanbarber3323 you're correct. Not the Marines. A different branch of a different Military. Are you saying these strange ways are how you guys train. Kind of making it up as you go. If it looks good I'll give a try. Hoping you'll get results without permanent damage. If so I will withdraw the comment. My post was saying " not the normal way to train." But if it is. Then I will apologize. Honestly did not know Marines are that... Crazy. If that is indeed the way you go about training.

@@jonbutcher9805 You're correct, these are TikTok's of people showing off their strengths for likes. I can't speak for my Marine brothers and siters but in the army on the conventional side there is a more structure style of PT every morning usually consisting of a run or some type of muscle hypertrophy style event, Mondays or Fridays are sometimes reserved for unit pt which is usually a 4-mile run depending on who created the plan. On the SOF side of things, it's a little more team dependent, I operate in a 4-man team, and we structure our own PT to how we operate encompassing cardio, strength and endurance. The most important thing is safety so work outs like this being as cool as they are, don't take place on a regular basis, rope climbs and pull ups and core strengthening yes, but the barbell on the neck and hopping over a dumbbell with an ab roller doesn't. if one of my dudes go down then my team is operating at a 75% capacity which in my community is not ideal, can we do it yes do we like it absolutely not.

Impressing conditioning but a lot of those are just gimmicks to look cool lmao. Muscle ups are just about momentum and I dunno what that barbell on the back of the neck has got to do with anything lmao.
