Hi Jeremy, can you do multitrack recording right on the EK 50? i.e. record the chords in a style then go back and record a piano part, then add a sax and finally some strings? I had an old Radio Shack Optimus that allowed recording 6 tracks and I assume that the EK 50 would have that function but I haven't seen anybody address it. Maybe you did - if so, sorry that I missed it. Thanks Jeremy!

I was told that EK50 voices/tones/styles are decade old which was inherited from PA50 and if it's true is EK50/EK50L worth buying. Need your opinion on this please. Hope to hear from you asap. I m a beginner in the meaning that in mine 10 yrs old I went 2 years in organ lessons,I remember most of basic things and the most complicate part was “ the entertainment” and parts like this lol 😆 after 30 years I decide to return to music 🎶 and after mine research I find your channel..So I’m between korg ek 50 and Casio ctx 3000 or 5000 depend on the price in my country,my priorities are quality voices,rythms and the possibility to reproduce famous drum scores on it,not to produce them,from scratch ,let’s say the drum 🥁 part from a song from Queen ,now which of two have the possibility and how or to find this in internet and reproduce it ,or with pc software or with usb ? I hope you understand what I mean and I m waiting for your helping answer ,keep up the good job 👏🏻

Wondering what will be the difference to take audio from headphone output vs the output jacks ? One difference I know is that plugging the headphone disables the onboard speakers. for output jacks you have to keep them on or can turn off.

I just sent you a thanks at a different video. Does the psr-e473 compete well with these Korg keyboards? Or should I get an sx600 or sx700 even? I need to create backing tracks for my KZbin videos…guess I need a DAW app too. Just need something that I can use for a couple years and not get bored with….

If it's within your budget, the PSR-SX is a significant jump in capabilities And sound quality from the PSR-E473 or Korg EK/i3.

The bundled lite version is limited to 4 tracks. The paid version of Ableton supports UNLIMITED number of tracks.

Can ableton be controlled via the buttons on the i3 ?? Can you give functions to some buttons of the i3 to assign sounds to them? My doubt is that if banks from 1 to 5 can be assigned different sounds taken from ableton and thus control them as if they were integrated into the korg. I don't know if I have explained myself. Use it as much as possible as a midi controller. Thanks a lot.

Just EK to iOS device for the iOS apps. This video is for the plugins, computer apps and to record the EK audio into DAW for music production.
