I've had my OASYS for 2+ years now, and this is still where I start going blurry. Definitely going to have to watch through these again after the KRONOS gets here. LOVE that these are so capable, but I need to practice with these settings/controls more to become more familiar with them.

Ian Ginn. I just got the Krome and I'm coming from ES6 Motif. I love recording all my drum parts on separate track and bass, keys, horns, and Guitars on single tracks. Is it hard to do this with Krome

any advice why my son's Korg Kronos will stop working out of the blue and give an error message on start up? It has happened twice since purchasing two years ago, not good he's a musician and needs it for gigs. The repair shop kept it 2 weeks (backlogged) the first time and when they finally looked at it, it worked for them fine, no repair. It just happened again two days ago - day before a gig, repair shop said they can't look at it for two weeks. Recurring problem. : house he's in has original outdated electric from 1950's - surge issues? heat or cold issues? transportation issues? cross bar stand issues (music shop said it could be that, could hurt bottom of keyboard)? Software issues? Any help appreciated, thanks

Oh. The. Great ones pls guide..my. korg kronos im having a situation. Where....when i select track 2. It stays on track 1. When i select track 3. It. Stays on track 2. It. Goes like that. When i select track 10. It stays on track 9. It operates. Like that..? Have. I press anything. Wrong? Also..same trouble. Shoots if i want to press letters like select letter. J..i got to press. H..to.j comes out on screen??..help pls is a major trouble..shoot. tq

This video could have been soooo good, hadn't it been for the low resolution of 360, making it impossible to read the keyboard. Also, your hands cover important information so it is impossible to follow on my own keyboard.

THE ONLY beef I have with KRONOS 88 LS is the LED lights on the Buttons. If you are playing in low light or in the DARk you cannot read the WORDs above the BUTTONS. I wonder if they had put the Lights under the buttons it would then shin a light on the WORDS BELOW

Can I send the karma parts out of the MIDI and or USB out to drive external synths and to dump to a DAW track?

I created a sequence. It's an upright bass playing a bass track. I'd like to hear this bass track while playing a piano sound. I don't know how to fire the sequence in "Seq" mode and play the piano in "Prog" mode. This will be used in live settings when I don't have a bass player. Is this possible or do I need to send the Kronos back?

But how do you set the meter to a different time signature in Sequencer Mode ? Its set at 4/4 by default .

i recorded 3 deferent intruments and my voice too in sequencer mode.....can i save that to my usb to listen it to my computer????? and if i can how....thanks

It's not the video, it's the way the front panel was designed, the lighting is just horrible. Compare it with the Yamaha Montage which has gorgeous lighting and full control over the lit up panel. Korg really let us down with this horrible design, but we put up with it because the synth itself is one hell of a monster! It's definitely not designed for live performance, you wouldn't be able to see crap the way the lighting is, they really messed up!

I should add you can use a computer to view the front panel, so if you have a good laptop, or better yet a real good desktop monitor, it will look a thousand times better. They should have designed the front panel much better, the lighting is just horribly on the eyes. :(

How do i change the time sig?!?

This was asked 5 years ago, but there may be some who need to know now. You can certainly control the time signature, but it must be done in record mode. You punch in on the track at the location you want the time signature changed, say from 4/4 to 3/8. Put it in record mode, standby. then click on the tempo indicator and change it to what you want. Then hit the record button and play till the riff or segment is over. Important: make sure your tempo mode is in "auto", no "manual", or the recorded changes won't take effect. Hope that helps, I'll be doing a complete series of tutorials on the sequencer as it's the main feature of the Kronos, i'm really surprised almost nobody is doing tutorials or demo's, it's the main feature, a truly incredibly powerful sequencer, amazing!

Korg needs to allow us to Lower the LED LIGHTS on the buttons. I asked them if there was a way and they said no. the only thing you can control is the pad

I fully agree, the lights are so obnoxious and way too bright. I had to put red tape over them as they hurt my eyes, that helps tremendously. The Yamaha Montage by comparison is gorgeous and is lit just wonderful. I have no idea what Korg was thinking in designing the front panel with those horribly bright lights, were the technicians all drunk or maybe they did it out of spite! If the synth wasn't so powerful and had such fantastic capabilities, i'd never have bought it. Well, try colored tape over all the lights, looks a bit funny, but you're be happy you did. What the hell were they thinking in making these dam lights so bright, are they blind or what?

It would be SO helpful if just 10 seconds had been taken to say, "Here's what you do if you want to erase your whole effort & start fresh." Is there any kind of DELETE switch or option? Anybody? Sometimes when you're learning a complex new piece of gear like this you have false starts & just wants to erase & keep trying trial efforts. ..Thanks, if anyone gets a minute!

yep..sequencing on a keyboard is still a total nightmare..such an old fashioned sounding song he recorded it really does not help show off this keyboard at all

frankly very strange to have preset multi selected for you. It gets in the way of creativity surely? If this is what modern day synthesisers are about then I'll stick to my SY77 and XP50

Adro Harv I was thinking about buying this to complement my Korg Trinity that I bought brand new in 1999. After watching about 10 videos and actually messing with one of these at a Guitar Center, Ill stay tf away from something like this. Why tf do I want to have to change presets every time I make a selection?? That is annoying af.

Your videos are horrible. You show loading a song template but then pan away and return with the Copy Pattern Open. I can't find how you got that window open. It isn't in the pull down menu. Very frustrating when you skip something important.
