Great companion for the Korg Prologue which is missing a sequencer. But I gather this module is going to cost the same as the Minilogue XD keyboard. Quite pricey for a module only synth.

oh holy hell, something ELSE to lust after. this really IS a super addition to the market: I loved the XD demos and for my re-entry to the synth market was so sold on it, but didn't need a keyboard. Problem solved. Now I can get the sounds and features of the XD without adding another set of keys to my work area...

Sure. Set the OG Mini to external control and the keyboard can control the XD module. Or set them both to the same MIDI channel and play with both at once, you just need to program different patches for each synth.

Using a modified version of the keyboard's form factor doesn't really look that great IMHO - too much empty space, particularly below the sequencer buttons, and the 2nd wood panel looks a little weird - but I suppose it keeps the cost down a bit, and it's nice to have the option of a module.
