Bonkers man! Your skills are SO impressive and expressive! This just shows what a lifetime of dedication to the art of music can really do! Kudos and shouts from Worcester, Massachusetts over the pond. I stumbled across this absolutely amazing workstation synth/keyboard a couple night ago when I started searching for a new instrument for my home studio and gig use. I am most definitely going to save up and purchase this beautiful instrument, largely based on demos like this, and most especially - yours. I started playing when I was four years of age, and now that I am 55 years old, I am still playing at churches as an organist, pianist, and vocalist. I believe my Bachelor's Degree in Performance would really serve me well in navigating the multitude of features on the KORG Nautilus. It is so true that the better grasp of music theory, harmony, counterpoint, and other musical concepts - the better your performance sounds. You are such a gifted, inspirational player. I can't wait to start saving and purchase a Nautilus for my own. I plan to make my own YT demos of it as well. Thank you so much. Cheers!

Thanks for this video. I just purchased my Nautilus about 2 weeks ago. I am blown away amazed at what this keyboard will do. Your video was quite informative. I am a drummer of 50+ years and a self taught keyboard player from the 80s. My limitations are with the editing and technical side of the keyboards. But with what you have shown here, it seems quite easy. Much easier than my Roland XP 80 that I still have since 1997. I was going to get the Roland Fantom but the 88 note keys were way too stiff for my liking. When I played the Nautilus I knew what to buy. I have plenty of original songs I have written and this keyboard will be easy to use to sequence them in recording. I hope to see more vids and your easy tutorials on this awesome keyboard the Nautilus. Thanks.

"Intuitive" is not the word I would use to describe any of Korg's products. They really need to hire a UX person to fix that stuff. I just tried out Roland's Fantom and there things just make sense, but Korg's Nautilus? Not so much. Just a very simple example: sequencer buttons on the screen are: Rewind, Record, Play. The hardware buttons are Play, Record, Rewind. You want to use the shortcuts to access those? Well hold down the EXIT key which (obviously) works as Shift... just bizarre stuff.

Brilliant, easy to follow demo video. Great playing and sounds. Thanks for making this. I am a Kronos owner and am considering picking up the Nautilus to use in a second band as well as my studio. Hoping that the Nautilus will be able to load all the 3D party sounds on Korg store. I know they CAN load right now but the Karma and some controller assignments are not gonna be right and I hear Korg is planning on releasing a tool to “translate” those Kronos sounds into Nautilus.

Thing is absolutely incredible, what a great demonstration…. Exactly what I’m looking for for my studio… The Kronos is a little too much, didn’t really dig the Roland or the Yamaha… This beast is clean and mean and doesn’t have a bunch of flashy stuff on it… A bigger screen would have just killed it, but I guess you can’t have everything…

Excellent job Tony! I’m little surprised Korg didn’t add some pads like on the Oasis, of course a 100 dollar nanopad will do the same thing. I know the touch pad has drawbar controls, but that’s the deal breaker of keeping my Kronos. The weight difference is significant though and in the future, who knows, the price is way better now but my 4K was still a great investment as long as it stays at home. Lol

What an amazing workstation! I was about to pull the trigger for the MODX, because I love the pianos + pad + organ sounds of Yamaha. But other than that, it was not too convincing for me. With the Nautilus you got it all, great 80'/90' Yamaha like West Coast Ballad Sounds but soooo much more. This video truly inspired me the most, and I watched a hundreds of videos of different workstations that are on the market. Korg nailed it for me with the Nautilus. It is already on the way to me 🤩👍😎! I would have gone with the KRONOS but my bank account said: NO 😉! And I really love the easy and intuitive layout of the Nautilus.

My guess is Korg wants to compete with Yamaha's MODX series where you take your flagship model, and redesign it for a lower price Montage-MODX Kronos-Nautilus
@mrdali67
@mrdali67 3 жыл бұрын
@@terrykeefe8386 And that’s the problem. In this comparison the Modx is still the winner. It is a much better Bang for the bugs intro level/budget board. Nautilus wins with a much better “Pro” keybed where the Modx has an “ok” but still slugish short keys keybed. If Korg just hadn’t cheaped out on dropping the aftertouch. There would be a small reason to pay almost twice the price as a Modx. But I do think that Korg has done a reasonable job making a board that sounds much better out of the box compared to the Kronos. Even the std. Kronos needs a fair ammount of programming and purchase some expansion sounds to get you going, where the Nautilus sounds much better ootb compard to other 2021 synths

Korg doesn't really care about its customers, it is a kind of "I drop all I have, use it!" and that nobody there had 1 working day to sit and configure the instruments to make them more appealing. Yamaha engineers are smarter because they have their instruments better configured in my opinion, I never owned MODX or Montage but I watched some YT reviews and it looks Yamaha cares more of its customers. I also hate that different volume levels on Korg, I do have KromeEx.

Hello, I'm just starting with the Korg company (previously Roland Fantom G and Yamaha Tyros 3,4). Currently, I have the Korg PA5X, which, for me, is intuitive-I managed it without using the manual. I'm considering purchasing the Nautilus. The question is, can you record vocals directly onto audio tracks using a microphone on the Nautilus, then combine it with a MIDI track, save it, and play back the complete recorded song (the whole song)?
