Korg Pa5x Song Book & Setlist

RJM shows you how he uses Song Book and Setlist on the Korg Pa5x. You can save any Style and it's changes to Song Book, then you can create a Setlist from your Song Book.

There is a much easier way of editing your play list. Go into menu, preferences and you will see an option to change the view to list. Once you are in list view you can highlight the track you want to move and move up or down with the arrow keys. Simple.

What Firmware version do you have, 1.1 or 1.2?

@@jonmicheals621 Until today it was 1.1 I now have 1.2 . The process is described in the on line manual. In song book press the 3 lines at the top. Select preferences and in set list view change from Tile to List using the wheel. You then have an easy to edit list.

Hello tu peux me dire si le Réglages favoris plusieurs sonorités et sauvegarder dans son book car je fais des morceaux avec plusieurs réglages. J’ai vu que la section favoris était pas mal je sais pas. Par contre si elle se sauvegarde dans son book. Encore merci

If your favorite is in Song Book and all your settings are saved to that Song Book Style then yes, it will work. But you really should use Set List. Then, you could create several Set Lists for your songs and have easy access to them. 👍🎹👍

Hello, I saw your explanation about the setlist and moving the songs, where you delete the song and add it again. Well, you don't have to, because you just have to change the setlist display preferences and in this mode you can move all the songs at will without deleting them.

well, in the setlist you can go to preferences by clicking on the right top symbol and then you select "list" In that mode you can move an item up or down and also go the previous or next song

I was gonna say, on my 4X, you can move things easily within the setlist. Also, does ALL THAT INFO on the individual songs on the setlist stay on? How cumbersome if so. @@jonmicheals621

@@solojim The "Set List" is not the finest point of the Pa5x. It does give you a lot of information. But for me it is the "Styles" that make this keyboard. You can produce music very easy with this keyboard, the quality of the accompaniments are incredible. Far better than my old Pa1000.

It is similar, but the Pa5x has a different operating system.

Pareil que sur le Génos. Tu fais tes réglages et tu sauvegardes dans le songbook. Chez Korg le songbook "Yamaha" et les registrations " Yamaha" sont gérées dans une seule application appelée Songbook qui est lui même "divisé" en "SetList" ( l'équivalent d'une registration Yamaha).
