Which is why you have bands like weezer for instance who found a middle ground while still sounding the same as they always have but still incorporate new elements into their music. Korn is different though they sold out for a while when they hooked up with skrillex they lost track of who they were and where they came from but the last two albums they came out with they've kind of gone back to their roots

But ever since I bought your "Issues" album as a young teen, your music and the message you send through it has reverberated throughout my entire adult life. Matthias Tammekivi I don't think that, Untouchables is an interesting album, they are playing like a mature band (mature and mainstream are not necessary together, we are talking about 2002, internet is main plataform) lyrics are powerful, and think about the name of the album "Untouchables", at that moment they are, indeed, untouchables, the most recognized "nu metal" (I'd say inspiration of nu metal) band

@@adamglaser366that's the crazy thing about a band of this caliber. They changed the entire genre so much you can't really pick out a single album. They're just bad fn ass The first album created a wave we've never seen before. Revolutionary doesn't even do it justice. I was 10 at the time so as much as I loved it then, I couldn't really give it the just due it deserves. For me, I hit those rebellious teenage years just as Follow the Leader came out. Korn was my introduction to Metal/Numetal/hiphop, theyre going down in history for sure! This track hits harder then it did in my teenage angst years. I think so because I can relate to them a whole lot more now that im older and actually pay attention to the poetic lyrics Jonathan Davis delivers. Im so glad they stood the test of time! goes to show, when you put your heart into your music, it connects with evreyones subconcious. we are all connected and music is the source that brings us all together.

This was like my 1st Korn song, I remember back at school when a friend of mine gave me the tape to listen to it. When i played it on my walkman as the song started there was only this "Buzz-like" sound and i couldn't make out what was going on. I thought the head of the walkman was dirty so i took out the tape and cleaned it and put back the tape, rewind and play again. It was still the same sound that heavy Buzz sound, but then in few secs kicked in that blasting drums and bass guitar slap..I was like..Damn!!!Scared my ass off for a moment..Indeed it was night.. This track has been my favorite ever since then. That dark groove! Phew!!

The tape?? This came out on tape? Wow, how cool you/your friend had that on tape. I remember buying this the day it was released.

Stefan Westermann It has a bunch of news shit and other stuff edited into it. At the end is so cool, it shows a cop attacking an innocent victim and its transposed over an animal in the wild attacking an unsuspecting other animal for meat.

Zen Kit It's not exactly "horribly graphic" or even "R rated" if you ask me. It's just real. A lot of people can't handle real.

its funny how when i was a kid korn was the band that got me into heavy music - then i got 'too cool for korn' and bashed them. now that im 36 years old i heard one of their songs again and its so much better than the 'cool' music i have been listening to lately. good job korn.
