Which is why you have bands like weezer for instance who found a middle ground while still sounding the same as they always have but still incorporate new elements into their music. Korn is different though they sold out for a while when they hooked up with skrillex they lost track of who they were and where they came from but the last two albums they came out with they've kind of gone back to their roots

But ever since I bought your "Issues" album as a young teen, your music and the message you send through it has reverberated throughout my entire adult life. I have been suicidal a few times in my life but never had the balls to go through with it... either way... your music has always been and always will be there, and I will never forget it. @@adamglaser366that's the crazy thing about a band of this caliber. They changed the entire genre so much you can't really pick out a single album. They're just bad fn ass The first album created a wave we've never seen before. Revolutionary doesn't even do it justice. I was 10 at the time so as much as I loved it then, I couldn't really give it the just due it deserves. For me, I hit those rebellious teenage years just as Follow the Leader came out. I can't tell you how many times I bought that album...both in cd and cassette format! By this time, my lifelong Fandom was set in concrete and I still have the untouchables shirt somewhere lol. Korn was my introduction to Metal/Numetal/hiphop, theyre going down in history for sure! This track hits harder then it did in my teenage angst years. I think so because I can relate to them a whole lot more now that im older and actually pay attention to the poetic lyrics Jonathan Davis delivers. Im so glad they stood the test of time! goes to show, when you put your heart into your music, it connects with evreyones subconcious. we are all connected and music is the source that brings us all together.

Matthias Tammekivi I don't think that, Untouchables is an interesting album, they are playing like a mature band (mature and mainstream are not necessary together, we are talking about 2002, internet is main plataform) lyrics are powerful, and think about the name of the album "Untouchables", at that moment they are, indeed, untouchables, the most recognized "nu metal" (I'd say inspiration of nu metal) band

This time, I'm taking it away I've got a problem With me getting in the way Not by design So I take my face And bash it into a mirror I won't have to see the pain Pain, pain This state is elevating As the hurt turns into hating Anticipating all the fucked up feelings again The hurt inside is fading This shit's gone way too far All this time, I've been waiting Oh, I cannot grieve anymore For what's inside awaking I'm not, I'm not a whore You've taken everything And, oh, I cannot give any more My mind's done with this, okay? I've got a question Can I throw it all away? Take back what's mine So I take my time Guiding the blade down the line Each cut closer to the vein Vein, vein This state is elevating As the hurt turns into hating Anticipating all the fucked up feelings again The hurt inside is fading This shit's gone way too far All this time, I've been waiting Oh, I cannot grieve anymore For what's inside awaking I'm not, I'm not a whore You've taken everything And, oh, I cannot give any more I'm here to stay Bring it down I'm here to stay Bring it down I'm here to stay Bring it down I'm here to stay Bring it down Bring it down Bring it down Bring it down Gonna break it down, gonna break it down Gonna break it down, gonna break it down Gonna break it down, gonna break it down Gonna break it down, gonna break it This state is elevating As the hurt turns into hating Anticipating all the fucked up feelings again The hurt inside is fading This shit's gone way too far All this time, I've been waiting Oh, I cannot grieve anymore For what's inside awaking I'm not, I'm not a whore You've taken everything And, oh, I cannot give any more Give any more Give any more Give any more Give any more

I become more empathic in regards to the soul of the music of my childhood. Listening to it as an adult really brings it all full circle. I feel the pain, I feel the energy, it's so much more alive inside of me.

+Paul Sheriff i am a verY big fan of death metal or hardcore who 'blast more' and from who the vocal are more 'guttural' like deicide or cannibal corpse or new stuff from rings of saturn.... but the sounding of that riff at the beginning got his magic the song is so heavy ans simple pure raw chaos
