Korone really have the strangest taste of Oshi's, but her compassion for them is really wholesome. She tends to love the stoic loner types, the ones who are almost universally hated (like Jar Jar), and ojisans who are in general underappreciated. Maybe she just senses that they're in need of some love and appreciation.

I bet Jar Jar comes off as much less obnoxious and offensive in Japanese than in English, it's his speech patterns in English more than anything that made people despise him so much. If the Japanese VA doesn't fully capture how he comes across like a mentally challenged racial caricature he probably seems more like just a typical comic relief character in a kids' cartoon.

Boba is pretty good as a charcter in the original EU, especially when the empire was crumbling and before he was appointed with Vader. Its a shame that Disney retconned it, and replaced it...whatever you call BoBF, but who cares about that. Korone has good taste, and I would highly recommend watching Metanerdz three part video on his backstory. Its very good also Boba is the best bounty hunter in SW's.
