The word "wholesome" is often thrown around and misused talking about Vtubers...but it really applies to Korone. She doesn't use fan service or shocking language or cheesy self promotion to draw viewers. She is just happy and positive and caring and funny being her true self.....with dog ears. And without the work of these wonderful translators many of us would never have known about her.
@EricMuller

That's why I find her streams easier to watch than some of the other vtubers. They all have their charm, and I pop in and out, but unless they're doing something particularly interesting I don't usually stick around. With korone it feels good to watch and cheer her on. I know she welcomes the overseas people, but I try to chat in Japanese, just simple things like 頑張っれ. I just want them all to be happy.

Eric Muller Hey man, just so you know, you don’t need the っ in there :) Correct spellings would be: 頑張れ (がんばれ) - ganbare 頑張って (がんばって) - ganbatte Or another one you can try is: いつも応援してます! (いつもおうえんしてます!) - itsumo ouen shitemasu - I’m always cheering for you! / I always support what you do! Optionally you can even add ころさん/ころね (koro-san/korone) before it :) Also, I completely agree with what you said about her streams

It was through the translated clips that I began to get into Vtubers and now it's rather taking over my youtube feed. It's also given me the motivation to start learning Japanese myself. when she says "thank you" to translators mid clip..... well I'm not blaming you guys for not believing me, but my eyes become a bit teary.... it feels like she really said it from the bottom of her heart, it pierce right through my kokoro at that exact moment when I saw it..... like, I don't really expect those wholesome thing she said. It's indeed takes "a bit" effort to translate & clipping..... let's say, for only 5 minutes clip, it could take hours to edit & do other stuff. well, I think it's faster when translators have a group or something, but it's quite takes a time for a solo like me. Honestly, I'm still doing subs & clip here at 2:40 AM, because I have things to do in the morning & afternoon, but after those thing this doggo said, it's really pumped me up immediately :') anyway, I'm glad I started contribute to this community from this doggo's clips months ago, didn't expect she's gonna tell something like this, not gonna lie:( it's hella rare to see her emotional like this, so obviously it's affect many of her viewers and fans. Too bad I missed this end of livestream, because it may feels more emotional if I watch it real-time ;_; And lastly, I'm also thanking you guys for your support and encouragement, I'm (and maybe the translators?) really glad with positive feedback you guys gave to me (us?)... If it wasn't for these amazing translators, we wouldn't have been able to experience how wonderful these vtubers are so thank you so much! Most vtubers are basically owned by a company and they're acting based on their avatar but it oddly feels a lot more genuine than other youtubers. It's like 10% of it is their character and 90% is the person behind it like an introvert being able to express themselves a lot better by wearing a mask.

No better blessing than being haunted by Korone in 200 years. She really is a good person though. She doesn’t take things for granted and remembers to be thankful, even asks for advice about it. Being automatically thankful about things is such an alien concept to me. So I’ll follow the good example and thank the translators too, since it’s thanks to the few translated clips I originally watched that I ended up subscribed to Korone and others. It’s so weird but so good at the same time that we can tune in to a stream we can’t understand at all, stick around watching them do interesting things, and then have someone translate the things they said afterwards. It’s such a fun and wholesome community.

Just seeing Korone, going so far as to ask management in order to find a proper way to thank the people making subs, despite she just saying that they all do it for the sole purpose of wanting to share what they love to people that cannot fully appreciate them due to the language barrier... It speaks a lot of how truly thankful she is, and how much she appreciates what the subs do for her, be it directly or indirectly. I definitely would love to watch streams more often, but this crappy laptop goes into such a heat from watching lives (even at lower qualities), and even sometimes the archives if I were to pop the chat out. Clips like the one here are what helps me the most at understanding what actually happened in a given live, and just like Korone, cannot be more thankful to people who take it upon themselves to sub and upload them. Really guys, you deserve at least as many thanks as the girls for all your hard work, and I'm glad Korone and the rest think just the same.

She really loves and cares about her overseas fans, and it shows. She's such a wholesome and endearing individual. Also, she's definitely right. Translators are amazing people who shouldn't be taken for granted, both by Vtubers and by their overseas fans. None of us (Minus fully-bilingual fans) would be able to enjoy their content nearly as much as we do without them, and Vtubers wouldn't have as much of a reach beyond their homeland because of it. Most of them do all this hard work for free, simply because they love these characters and want others to enjoy their content. Thank you guys for what you do! Keep up the great work!

I got hooked after seeing the “Everytime Korone says a weapon name in Metal Slug” get passed around on twitter and really fell down the Vtuber hole after watching your Doom compilation of her stream. It’s really been an amazing thing to discover, and I subbed and try popping into live-streams to show my support despite the language barrier. But thank you translators for giving us literally real life Vtuber anime.

I wouldn't mind Korone haunting me for years, I already know that while she can say intense things she can't actually bring harm to people because she would feel bad about it lol. Thanks to the traduction teams all around the globe and Korone.

I don't translate videos from vtubers, nor translate videos that often But this still makes me so happy to hear. I should start translating that ace attorney fangame to spanish soon to be honest. Thank you for translating this video osakaki, really cool . I do translate videos from vtubers, but I often just take a clip that's already translated to english, and I only share it with my friends that had gottem an interest now. (I messaged Hololive moments just now, and they said they'll allow me to translate videos through youtube, hurray)

It is very impressive to see Korone's comments of thanking the translators and uploaders on english subbed clips/videos of korone's videos. rare to see any youtubers come to clip uploaders and thanking their channels. i only learned about virtual youtuber stuff last week and am especially continuously impressed with korone's efforts to learn/speak english and even thanking translators.
