I have a set of the original alarms by Korum, same as these three alarms and receiver, at least five years old now and never had a problem with them work well even in the rain, which my fox warriors never did, they don’t have the tone and sensitivity functions, but they do what I want them too, I’m a big fan of korum tackle it’s all good well made tackle.

Nice review there westy ,just a tip I've used over years if the battery compartment isn't totally waterproof just run a small bit of silicon grease into the recess where they slide in and it keeps moisture and water out mostly 👍🏻 look forward to seeing how they perform

always had fox alarms mat so i cant comment on the korum ones...but i can say on the fox micron x ...bulletproof mat i think the best out there for there price point! ..i have the camo versions ..more expensive but sometimes ya get wot ya pay for!...those korums tho look good for the budget concious angler ....tight lines ....

The fox are great alarms Matt, only downside i find is the sensitivity setting, stages 1234, 4 is way to touchy, i stick to 2 and 3

Do you think you could try catch a canal carp at some point during the year ?

Wouldn’t know where to start up north mate. You need to be local to a carp stocked canal and spend lots of time pre baiting and searching. Maybe a river carp would be achievable though 💪🏻🎣
