Win 🎣 Anyone else find commercial perch are a lot paler in comparison? I’ve always put it down to them eating less fish and more commercial baits

It’s water colour mate,the clearer the water,the more vivid the colours for camouflage,the dirtier the water the more washed out the colour. Most commercials have carp stocked,hence the cloudier water and the paler perch.

Would have been nice to get some info about how you set up the ledger rod, i.e. open bail arm or running on a loose clutch? Type of bobbin etc. Also how to set up the blobber float and how you hook your worms and prawns.
