One other tidbit from the show. Cupcakes are an easter egg from the very first episode to Vi's pet name for Caitlyn. I don't know if others have told you this yet, but One of Cait's abilities in game is to lay down a trap (referenced in her voicelines), called a Yordle Snap Trap. The bait for her trap is a cupcake

No kidding?! Im a huge predator fan but was in doubt with the hair...it was more the mask that tipped me off in that direction. Either way....one day you will all see my predator cosplay 🥳

@@donmowatt Check out the headhunter Rengar skin. If i remember correctly he actually has a monster skull on his shoulder that looks like the predator.

Cait actually does have her top hat in exactly one scene in Arcane. After the opening scene in Episode 2, Cait and her parents are arguing about Jayce and the explosion. The direction is really cool as it focuses on the family portrait as each person speaks in turn (I believe Cait has the top hat in the painting too), then it cuts to all three of them in the room, where Cait has the top hat on her lap. I think it is supposed to be one of her parent's hats because it looks too big for her then 14-16 year old character model. With what happened in the season finale, I could see the writers take the story towards the hat being a comfort thing (she only has it in the scene directly after she 'could have died' in an explosion), and Cait puts it on to try and ease some of her trauma while trying to carry on with her duties

Caitlyn's rework a couple years ago (right before Arcane... coincidence?) was insanely good. Her new theme was banging, all her oldest skins got updated (not her new skins, those are already great and didn't need updates), and she remains to this day one of the strongest marksmen in the game and is constantly banned in pro-play. We're just waiting for Riot to nerf her back down (as a Cait main, this saddens me but is inevitable).

The winter Caitlyn is a reference to the "white death" of Finland(500+ kills). A sniper during early WW2 who was deadly enough that the Russians tried to bomb entire regiments just to get the guy. There are other real war references. Corki, a plane champion, has a "red baron" skin. Referring to the ace(most kills in a plane) of Germany.(80 planes shot down)

So Caitlyn was a character in League of Legends long before Arcane. The main picture you saw in the voice lines is the basic model of Caitlyn. This is about 3 years after the story in Arcane. You did catch on that she seemed more mature then she did in Arcane and it is because of this reason.

actually LoL Caitlyn is about 9 years older than arcane caitlyn, I hope I'm correct, but LoL caitlyn should be 25 and arcane caitlyn 16

@@motafu1 Actually if you paid attention to ages, Jinx is what, 18 in Arcane, in LoL she is 21. That is only a 3 year difference. That's what I based the age difference off of and how everyone I've seen has done the time difference. Caitlyn also would not be in the guards or even at her position if she was 16 in Arcane as she'd still be in school.

We know her and all the other champ characters were around before arcane 😅 cmon were not THAT daft. Id guess after just finishing s1 that arcane cait is somewhere around her 20s. In the voiceline...to my ears..it sounds like mature 20s or early 30s... Either way were all around the same guesses. But no matter because shes AWESOME!

Huh, where is the line about being sorry for leaving the fuzzy cuffs at home? Is that only a cop skin specific or did rito delete the line? Also a trivia about her skin, the one after the sherif, where she had a hat with teen on it and dressed almost like Lara Croft in green top and shorts. That is a (remade) Safari skin, together with Foxfire Ahri (Firefox) and Exlorer Ezreal it made the three internet browsers at that time.

Great reaction but i really hate to be the person to say this but riot games did say that the Game lore and the Arcane lore will not connect with each other as many of the story is really different. For example Jayce didnt found the hextexh crystal it was someone else both Jayce and Viktor did become friends in the lore but viktor was not sick and weak he was really strong he even throw jayce across the room he stole the crystal that was given to him and use it for other means. Ekko in arcane didnt have parents but in the league game lore his parents are still alive some of the main reason why he keeps rewinding time is to keep having a moment with his parents as they were taken by a chembaron and was save by a champion name Zeri Caitlyn's parent was killed by a criminal that us a strange flower and Cait is hunting that person for many years also her mom is not part of the council for warwick... well we all want it to be like arcane but the story for him is still going well like in arcane Singed now that is a something as if you both remember when he was looking at a picture of someone at the end of episode 9 of Arcane, they are saying he have a daughter in arcane but in game lore he dont but i can tell you how that person in the picture is that is orianna in game lore for orianna her father is a guy name Corin Reveck Also the thing they have the shimmer is not part of the lore as well as we hope it would be added by renata glasc as she have something close to it but its different as shimmer is the blood of the void monsters and the one renata glasc have is something more powerful then the chemicals that they use for chemtech This is sad but we the fans of league have been trying to have riot to connect both the Game lore and Arcane lore together, it may be hard but we all can hope it may come Also if you like check out renata glasc she is really interesting to check out, and Udyr XD
