Still can't get enough of this game! In this episode I was joined by kAN on my adventure to go find the mechanic shop and finally get started with building my base! My truck and trailer struggled the whole way there while we encountered lots of enemies, but lots of enemies meant lots of loot! When we finally got to the mechanic shop, the goal was to gather enough resources to upgrade my truck and make it less (s)crappy! After some grinding and refining, we were finally able to turn my truck into a powerful AWD monster! Shouldn't have any problems towing anytime soon ;) See you guys in the next episode!

Rewatching this, I think you should show kAN your Hover-Truck (bunch up on fuel before and just throw in like 20 full slots of spare fuel) and take him for a ride to find the farmers beach (set a beacon ^^), because he helped you to move to the mechanic station ^^

Tip: use front wheel drive when using a trailer, so it will always be on the ground, your problem was that your wheel wasn’t in contact with the ground bc the trailer was lifting it up

kosmo you might want to invest into some chests to have in your car instead of the trailer, they are really useful

Depends on what you are farming. For smaller stackable stuff chests are great, but for larger refine-able sticks you need a trailer. Speaking of those, i think that a fifth-wheel style trailer would work better than a ball hitch style. Better weight transfer, so the tug should not wheelie as much. Or go all out and build a mobile mining/refinery truck, then all you need is a small scout truck full of chests.
