浅井空手: 前屈立ちでの重要なポイント・骨盤の位置・2024年一月インド講習会
There are many important points as you make the most popular stance in Shotokan, Zenkutsu dachi.
There is one key point that is often ignored or not been paid attention to. That is the correct position of the pelvis. There are two items in the position of the pelvis, that I am explaining in this video.
The first one is the tucking in the bottom of the pelvis. I find many people let the bottom to the rear. This results in the straight line of the thigh and the hip line.
If the thigh and the pelvis are positioned to be straight line, your upper body will lean forward. To straighten the upper body, many people try to bend from the lower spine or lumber area.
We must know that this corrective way is very unhealthy or dangerous. It can easily cause the spinal damage. Initially it may be just some pain and uncomfortableness, but eventually it will end up a permanent injury.
By tucking in the bottom of the pelvis, it creates a bending by approximately 30 degrees at the bottom of the pelvis (no unnecessary pressure on the spine). With this bone structure, your stance becomes very solid and stable.
