Tim forgot to mention another difference the Definitive Edition has. This time punting enemies with your horse DOES give you EXP (a tiny insignificant amount but something nonetheless) as opposed to the zero EXP the vanilla DQXI versión gave on PS4 and PC. Just felt like pointing that out :)

I cannot get over the spritework on the 2d version. It looks SO much better than so many (already good in their own right "retro throwbacks". I love the 3d graphics so much though too. Hi Tim, I wanted to hop in and say that you single-handedly convinced me to play Dragon Quest XI for PlayStation 4 last year, and it was my second favorite video game *of* that year! (Also, my most favorite video game of that year was Celeste, which was also a game your videos convinced me to play.) I got the platinum trophy in the PS4 version of DQ11, and all the changes to this version seem really neat and I would probably really enjoy playing it! Unfortunately, I am *extremely enamored* by the way this game looked in 4K on the PS4, and every time I see the Switch version I really do wish they would just release the S version as DLC on a 4K platform. Hopefully that happens! I would buy and play that without hesitation.

Never have i randomly clicked on a video without realizing it was 33 minutes long of such slow deliberately paced and repetitive script and stuck to the end without even pausing. 'Neat' i tought at first, i will just pause it, add to watch later, resume it some time after, 'i will let him just finish this point and move on' i tought. On each point. Until it ended. This is just the video I was looking for!!! Not a review, (I already know the game is near perfect) but a comparison of the "Definitive Edition" versus the original!!!! I'm hoping to get a Switch by the end of next month, and while I need Monster Hunter and Crash Racing first, I'm already adding this game to my "must have" list!!! And I love your script writing and sassy tone of voice!!! Made the video even better!!!

Tim. I can't find any information about the new story chapters. The previews talked about new playable segments where each party member became the protagonist and filled in some story gaps. What's the down low on that?
