I come to research different potential head speeds for my V2. So years later this is still a value added video, thanks for taking the time to upload it! I'm thinking 1700/2000/2250 with 1700 mostly, and 2000 for when I'm feeling randy. 2250 just because that's the designed rating for peak RTU's in this size rating under optimal atmosphere.

It was sent! Nice flight. I have a Hero7 Black, GoPro. I can not get my video to record in a similar frame size. I record in wide angle, with my head mount maybe I should remove it from wide-angle to get a bigger picture of the heli. Wide angle makes it look further away than it really is sometimes, I have noticed. The Nimbus looked dialed!

I recently few at this location . Nice gem and accommodating. Would like come fly with you there. Minor Park is full of mosquitoes and Longview I can’t ever find anyone flying accept for my good friend Micheal Sutherland . I’m not a novice but I haven’t been flying 700s for about 16 years. Hopefully we will cross paths if not here but maybe at Minor Park. Excellent stick skills by the way.

BladeScraper what do you think about the new OMP M2 EVO im thinking to get one. Do you think is better than the M2 V2?
@BladeScraper
@BladeScraper 2 жыл бұрын
I mean, it's the next version, so it probably is better. I can't speak on it myself because I've never owned one. However, I do know that the FBL unit has been tuned a lot better by experienced pilots, and the deadband issue from the V2 should be gone on the EVO.

Other than the overheating issue, did you like this heli? I've loved mine so far. I have different parts though. Torq 2208 servos with whatever their full size tail is. Xnova Lightning 4025-1120KV 11 tooth pinion Ikon 2 Hobbywing 150 v5 560 Ultimate blades 96 Ultimate tail blades I run it off 6S and I gotta say, this thing is incredibly powerful with this setup. I can't believe the power I have with it. I'm still newer and learning but this thing is definitely a lot more stable than my RAW 420. What led you to sell it is what I'm more getting at? Did you not like it very much? You're videos on it are what made me decide to build this heli and I wish you still had it 😂.
@BladeScraper

Yeah, it's a great machine. Battery bay is a little on the small side but that only matters in some cases. I'm just not a huge fan of 550 size electrics, every one I've had I sold fairly quickly and the Nimbus was no different. I think it's because if I'm going to bother going to an actual field I might as well fly my bigger helis.

@@BladeScraper that makes sense, thanks for getting back to me. You're honestly one of the best pilots I've ever seen, really wish you had more time to put up content for your fans like me. I know how it goes though, especially where KZbin is more of a hobby for you than an actual money maker. I hope you're doing well man!
@BladeScraper
@BladeScraper Жыл бұрын
@@Lance57H Thanks man. Your kindness means a lot. Yeah, I've been slacking on content lately. My channel has been helis-only for 10+ years, and since I've recently gotten into jets and airplanes, it feels wrong posting about it on a heli channel. I got a E-Flite Viper jet just a bit more than a month ago and have more flights on it than I have on my Tron which I've had since March, and almost as many as on my Protos 800 which I've had for over 2 years. Seems like I've become a planker lol. I do technically make money on my KZbin channel but it's like... I get a check for $100 every 6-8 months. Sure, it's nice, but certainly not a money maker lol.

@@BladeScraper it's good to branch out man, you can gain a audience from a different area of the RC hobby and hopefully gain more followers and views. Heck I'm looking into getting a jet myself right now. It looks like a lot of fun and would love to get into them. You do you man, whatever makes you happy I say. Haha that's still better than nothing! I'm sure not getting a check from KZbin every couple of months.

Did you ever figure out the temp issue? May have been a timing issue between the motor and esc.

It's my Galaxy S22 Ultra and a no-name hat mount from Amazon. The setup can be found in earlier videos of this heli. EgoDrift 4025HT Beta 1050kv and YGE Saphir 125.

nice flying ... what is idle up throttle curve on 2300 rpm?
@BladeScraper
@BladeScraper 2 жыл бұрын
It's the YGE gov store, so the exact number isn't that important and will depend on your setup... I don't know off hand, I just look at my RPM telemetry and adjust the curve until I get what I want. Since it's gov store, it's the same every flight.
