Given reactors are free advertising, I don't know why some K-companies block some reactions. Speaking just for myself, sometimes reactors alert me to a song or group I wasn't aware of and I went to check them out on my own. Plus if I'm watching a reaction, I either saw the MV already or else will watch the original without commentary afterwards (if I like the song). In the most extreme case Kaia got me to stan LE SSERAFIM. Before she made a case for them, I just listened to the titles and kinda ignored them for about a year. Both Kaia and _Impurities_ made me stop, turn around, and give them attention. So thank you for that, Kaia (if you read this). I think most K-companies understand that the relationship with reactors IS a good thing in the long term even if in the short term some attention is pulled away from the official release. Hell, we know that even the idols themselves watch reaction videos. If the reactor is actually good at their job, the viewer is going to watch and stream multiple times because the reactor made the comeback exciting. Yeah, there are some bad reactors who just upload and give next to nothing, but those channels don't gain big numbers because there's no substance. Watching with someone like Kaia let's you experience her excitement as well as some in-sight you might not have caught on before. I really need to stop typing.

So basically, the GPT MV revolves around J. At the beginning it’s a nightmare. She’s dreaming about the members whatever. She wakes up, looking at her key, ready to go to the generator. She brings Seeun and they meet with the other members. The machine diagnoses them, and they all go into the machine, the lyrics say “I’m calling you gpt” because the love interest is like an ai because they’re heartless. Basically you see J glitch out of the simulation, and you see her standing in the center of all the members still in the simulation. The next time they line up J knows something is wrong and doesn’t give her key (the key is like symbolic of giving your heart, and the people in the simulation can be interpreted as the person or being led on/not giving back any attention, not wanting to know about them). She runs away from the simulation, and at the end you see the members putting all their attention into this machine, but J breaks it with her key and they all run away and live happily ever after I guess. Another reason it’s called GPT is because it’s like you ask an AI questions but they don’t care and don’t ask any back. Anyways ty for reading if you did ❤

Little bit of context for the MV, 'Sarangnee' in Korean means wisdom teeth, which also symbolize 'first love' there cause wisdom teeth usually grow between the ages of 18-25, around the first time we start developing feelings for someone. Plus, the pain we feel when wisdom teeth grow is often compared to the pain of a first heartbreak. That’s why in Korea, they call wisdom teeth 'love teeth' or 'Sarangnee'

As a Plory I'm going to be biased, but even still out of this batch presented by Kaia, On My Bike is the stand out. PurKi going rock just fits. That aside, if I were to rank the rest (like it matters) WaveWay is 2nd (though I want to point out how good Goldilocks' Water is), Cherish is CLOSE 3rd (it's very close to WaveWay for me), and lastly GPT. I think STAYC killed it with Cheeky Icy Thang earlier this year so when comparing it with GPT it's a bit lackluster. Having said that I enjoyed all these songs and ended up I buying all these albums sooo.... they got my money regardless of "rankings", lol
