I thought IU was amazing until I went to her concert and realised she‘s even better live. Her live vocals sound sooo good and she has a live band which makes every song 10 times better even. I really hope she‘ll release a concert Album!!

The reason I got into kpop was after watching a random kdrama which happened to be Hotel de Luna. I couldn't get over how (fell to my knees in walmart) stunning IU was. And then I found out she could sing. Her mixture of adorableness and visual beauty are a legitimate superpower. That's also why my other ult is Kim Chaewon. 😂

Good Day is such an iconic song, but imagine watching IU sing that high note live over and over on numerous music shows. Back then I think we had four music shows a week, Thursday through Sunday, and she was still new enough that we probably got six weeks of promotions, too? Regardless, that high note really set a standard for her career 😊

She likes to make music about her experiences in different ages. 23, pallette, eight and lilac are some of them. She collaborated with so many different artist old or new, some of them are from classical singers, she even have a remake full album of old Korean songs which is iconic. She did a lot of different genres she even has a jazz album. The lyrics in her songs are always so poetic and important especially ballad ones. her live performance is amazing I recommend you to check out dear name, love poem live band performances. Just FYI: All of these songs, other than 'Good Day', were written and conceptualized by IU. She didn't compose the tracks, but she puts together the team to ensure the song is as she envisions. Similar to 'Love Wins All', she also recorded 'Holssi' while ill, so that may have impacted her performance a bit. Still amazing, though. To clarify, as well: IU has always experimented. She has such a wide discography of genres and styles, it's actually mindblowing. Not just 6 months ago with 'Holssi' but across her entire career, and especially with her getting more and more influence over where the music goes.

Holssi was composed by IU ,Lee Jong Hoon ,Lee Chae Gyu. IU has written all of her lyrics from 2015 and onwards, and co/ fully produced a lot of her tracks. Her live versions of songs are great, she has a live band and sometimes re arranges it.

IU had collabed at least twice with Suga, btw. Maybe they weren't suggested because I think at least one of their songs is possibly about Sulli, Goo Hara, and Jonghyun. But I think Suga won an award in production for one of the songs. I actually think Only I Didn't Know is one of her greatest songs, but is old enough that whoever suggests the next IU reaction probably will miss it. The lyrics turn me into a sobbing mess, though. Relatable if you've ever felt dumb falling for someone you shouldn't.
