I absolutely love that everyone loves Feel My Rhythm for the heavy use of the Bach and yet it was a major gripe for Kazinho lol. To each their own, but I loved the use of Bach and not just a sample of Air on G String, but the fact that they continued the piece into the bridge as well.

"Feel My Rythm" is the perfect example of why Red Velvet get regularly praised by music critics around the world for never playing it safe and always pushing the boundaries of the genre. NOBODY has ever thought of using such a beloved piece as Bach's "Orchestral Suite #3" in such a manner. As opposed to most Kpop groups who repeat 3 seconds of Paganini's "LA Campanella" and call it "sampling." Red Velvet performed a lobotomy on it and turned it into something unheard before. Why does One Of These Nights NEED to fully commit to R&B or "Disney" to be good? It's clearly a very intentional blend. The really pretty key change, the tasteful inclusion of the subtle hiphop/trap beat, the layering & detailing - they're all executed so satisfyingly well. 14:00 I don't think you paid attention to the instrumentation at all because they is a TON of variation and it's constantly evolving. Just keep re-listening to the song and focus on a different instrument each time lol 7-7.5 out of 13 is CRIMINAL to me. It clears double-digits with ease imo (I will defend this track till I die)

I think if u guys watch chill kill MV, u'll grasp the story they want to convey. It's a waste to not watch Chill Kill with the MV 😢 It does feel different in entire song 😂 because the conflicting feeling they're facing towards their abuser.. its like stockholm syndrome i think. I love chill kill sooo much it‘s the perfect presentation of red velvets more chill, rnb sounds with their quirky, crazy side (the chorus). The hey and yohoo are so random but the more you listen to it the better it gets especially when you sing along. Its so fun to listen to never gets boring and the vocals are chefs kiss. BUT the absolute best part is the bridge literally my favourite bridge by them or actually in general my favourite bridge (Cosmic could rival it)

Haha, watching the evolution of Kpop Hater to unofficial Reveluv is fun to watch. It's too bad you didn't experience "Chill Kill" by watching the MV as the juxtaposition of what you are seeing (dark) to what you are hearing (bright) really adds to the experience. It's as close to a "Hip to be Square" moment from "American Psycho" you'll get from a K-Pop MV. And if you're tired of hearing Bach, you should check out what they did with Paschabel's "Canon in D" with "Sweet Dreams" and Gershwin's "Rhapsody in Blue" with "Birthday".

Idk if you guys really go back and listen to their songs after you react to them here or not, but RV's title tracks and many b-sides are of such nature that they need to marinate in your mind for you to fully enjoy them ;) . Even me as a hardcore ReVeluv, was undecided on how to feel about some tracks or couldn't comprehend the complexity of the instrumental UNTIL I gave them a 2nd or 3rd listen. That's when they click for me and it's no stopping from there :) So, I'd really recommend u to listen to the songs you've reacted, on your own free time and you'll definitely notice a lot more things that couldn't be caught that easily on first listen.

A little bit of context for “One of These Nights”: Red Velvet had released more upbeat songs right before this song, and it was kind of the in thing to do at the time for other groups too. “One of These Nights” was completely the opposite and very much a gamble. So we love Queens that don’t follow trends and always give you the unexpected!!

the sound of chill kill matches the context of the music video tbh (where they kill their father/abuser/kidnapper whatever you want to call him. and so the chorus matches the fact that they are ignoring their actions/the repercussions and are only looking towards their 'new' future. while the verses are the darker reality and thoughts of their actions.) Joy has said that Chill Kill stands for "a situation or person that disrupts the silence". So in the context of the song it is literally the heys and woohoos you guys didn't like, which cut into the verses and takes you into the chorus you guys (also) didn't enjoy. Please react to their solo songs! I would love a video where you two rate their solo and subunit tracks (even if its comparing the members to each other! they have WILDLY different sounds!)
