Breathe was written by Jonghyun of shinee. When he passed away, Lee hi sung this song as a tribute to him and it was so emotional 😭 RIP to our amazing artist. May he be happy and free of pain ❤

the rapper on red lipstick is Yoon Mirae (Tasha). She is the goat in korean hiphop. I believe red lipstick samples the song Tashannie- Caution which Yoon Mirae was part of before she went solo

breathe is a song that has a special place in my heart because it was written by Jonghyun from Shinee (a band I love very much). Unfortunately Jonghyun passed away in 2017 but even today his voice is considered one of the most beautiful in all of k-pop... I recommend you listen to his cover of Y si fuera heya... pure poetry... in his life in addition to having written songs for Shinee and for his albums he has also written for other artists such as exo, IU, lee hi, Taemin..

BREATHE IS DEFINITELY MY ALL TIME COMFORT SONG!! For context regarding the song: Jonghyun of Shinee wrote this song for her (before he took his life due to depression and hate comments) when she was having a super bad time and wasn't doing well which is why the song is very personal to her and emotional plus is also the reason they made her sing this as a tribute to him and the lyrics “It's alright if you run out of breath no one will blame you” is the one that always hit hard and she can’t even to continue to perform it during the tribute live for him

Happy you reacted to Lee Hi! I rooted for her to win Kpop Star back in the day and have been following her career since. The rapper is Yoon Mirae. She and her husband are VERY well-regarded rappers in Korea. My favorite song of hers is Goodbye Sadness, Hello Happiness. Since you guys loved Lee Hi so much, I can't wait for a reaction to Park Hyoshin one day. He's kinda a male version of Lee Hi, but like on steroids lol. People in Korea call him a "god" for his insane vocals.

Saw the discord discord notification. ❤ LeeHi was discovered on K-pop Star with YG and JYP. She signed to YG then left and signed to AOMG but she's currently independent right now but that may change. Her Best Album is 4 Only but most of title tracks are loved.

the only person that sang Breathe better than her was probably SoHyang, but I guess that is subjective. I recommend the lyrics to it as well if you need to cry your eyes out for a bit
