I think yg is doing quite impressive job nowadays I mean baemon is getting a full album just after few months of debut I don't see any other company giving a full album at this fast rate hybe mostly pays attention to grps who brings more money there is a reason why formis9 was neglected for so long and in case of yg weather you bring money or not you still gonna get the same treatment if it would have been hybe they would have easily given up on grps like akmu but akmu is still active in yg for last 10 years

5. I agree.. KPOP is not just about music and checking out group releases anymore. Its the drama. People and content creators just take all upon themselves to rate outfits, create controveries, watching idols like a hawk. Stans are more interested in the personal lives, the "breaking of records", "proving haters wrong" than actual music. That's why KPOP sucks. Its not the groups, its the fans that make it hard to get into it. Good thing we have channels like yours that speaks facts and brings important matters to light.

It’s a shame for newjeans cause I feel they’re not really mistreated. They debuted with success benefiting from being bts sister group. They’ve interacted with bts members, had brand deals at debut, got a McDonald’s collab, a Coca Cola collab, Danielle collaborated with Disney, iPhone endorsers ect. And because their boss wouldn’t speak to them 1 time (that they mentioned) I’m supposed to care these rich teenagers are ‘mistreated’?… I’ve been mistreated by a boss before and ignoring you is nothing I would not care if I was rich and successful like them let bang pd ignore me. It’s just a shame their parents and min heejin got them throwing their careers away rn but they need some critical thinking.

Real mistreatment happens behind the scenes. All these were marketing moves to make the girls as popular as possible, as quickly as possible so they can start making maximum profit as fast as possible. All the above mentioned doesn’t disqualify from being mistreated and manipulated. Kpop fans are clueless when it comes to what actual mistreatment is because it happens where no one can see or report on it. Just because it glitters and looks flashy and expensive doesn’t mean it’s diamonds and gold. Also you guys don’t know what’s in their bank account to say they’re “Rich” some of them don’t got the money you think they do. Like Itzy for example. You would think that they’d be millionaires by now after 4 years in the industry, but they annual salary is like $75k a year…excluding bonuses they might receive. For 4 years in the industry at $75k a year that’s not even half a million dollars… So you don’t know anything. What you know is what the companies allow you to see and that’s never been enough to fully determine what an idol’s life truly looks like when cameras aren’t rolling and they go back to being normal people.

But do you really think they're being mistreated? If that's mistreatment to you, let me replace them! And if you say they're being mistreated then HYBE's not at fault. As you said, MHJ does everything for them. If they're being mistreated by HYBE and manipulated by MHJ, why do their parents want their kids to still work in HYBE and let MHJ work with them? They're just hypocrites at this point. And they're not victims really. Don't they have parents? I was 16 before but I was able to think for myself. I wasn't the best thinker their is but if I think something was fishy, I'll hear both sides and decide for myself who's right. But they're just fishing in both sides of the river at this point. 1) New Jeans are victims of MHJ’s manipulation, but because of how deeply enmeshed they’ve become I fear they may also be picking up on her bullying and entitled behavior. The Newjeans members submitted petitions to Min Heejin demanding action on Illit’s “plagiarism”, which is coming from a group of girls with no hand in their own creative direction and no idea about the origin of the concepts given to them. I’m positive Min Heejin put those batteries in their backs, but being her victims won’t be an excuse for entitlement and bullying of another idol group. 2. I find it funny that k-pop fans, Bunnies, Newjeans, and Min Heejin all behaved as if she was exonerated when granted the temporary injunction by the court. They didn’t look any further past the Allkpop, Koreaboo, and pannchoa headlines, and Kookielit even put a community post saying “Min Heejin was found innocent!” It’s clear to me none of these people have the capacity to understand anything more complex than a tiktok challenge and don’t take the time to read. This wasn’t a criminal case where innocence or guilt was being determined. An injunction is just a stop order, and hers was temporary, meaning Hybe was temporarily stopped from being able to fire her due to an oversight they made when renegotiating her contract. How their legal team didn’t catch that she could cause harm to Hybe as long as she didn’t cause harm to Ador is beyond me. The court ruling clearly acknowledged that she was absolutely up to no good, so I don’t know why Min Heejin, Newjeans, Kookielit, and those media outlet pawns acted as if this was her victory lap. Her legal nightmare is just getting started. Hybe is still pursuing criminal action and Belift filed a defamation suit against her that isn’t going away. That press conference did her no favors by showing just how unhinged she is. She thinks being granted a temp injunction gave her leverage to negotiate with Hybe and blithely dismiss text messages she herself admitted were real. 3. I think Baby Monster was able to finally climb out of the hole they were in because people who wrote them off took a second look at them once le sserafim and Illit were being raked over the coals for their lacking vocals. Their music may be terrible, but their live vocals and performance ability? Astounding. They still have a long way to go, but whenever YG finally decides to match their music quality to their level of talent they’ll be unstoppable. 4) Fromis_9 doesn’t just need a comeback, they need brand deals. Big 3 + Hybe idols are getting the majority of their take-home income from multiple brand deals, endorsements, and CFs because, regardless of their artist-label split agreements, making music will never be enough to pay the bills. Artist all over the world have to diversify their streams of income because streams and album sales make them pennies. Example- Blackpink didn’t make all their money off their music or touring- they never released enough music or toured consistently to make them as rich as they are. The majority of the wealth they generated as members of Blackpink came from brand deals. Pledis should’ve at least been marketing them as desirable CF models to multiple brands when From Our Momento box sold an unprecedented ~166k units in SK. They could’ve been raking in the dough and keeping their names in the public consciousness between already infrequent comebacks.

The court actually said "Min Hee-jin’s actions might be seen as betraying HYBE, they were provoked by HYBE’s initial discriminatory treatment and issues with album pushing. and that both sides could be seen as betraying each other", complaints Min Hee-jin raised, such as the plagiarism of NewJeans by ILLIT, discrimination against NewJeans and issues with album pushing, were legitimate concerns, and HYBE’s allegations that Min Hee-jin instigated NewJeans’ members’ parents to challenge these issues were not substantiated. The court also didn’t think the alleged trade secrets leaked were actually ADOR trade secrets, nor did her actions damage the company, The court also rejected that the stylist involved in the advertisements allegation receiving fees impacted ADOR’s revenue or profit, and thus it didn’t “constitute breach of duty.” In the mean time this will continue "Hybe shares have plunged 13.66% since April 19, the last trading day before Hybe launched an audit into ADOR".

She was seeking solutions to break from Hybe but was discovered before she could act. Her contract doesn’t provide grounds for dismissal for betraying or damaging Hybe, only Ador.

#1 agree. I'm not a fan of NJ, but that's my musical and concept preference. I don't like their music, simple as that. On the other hand, I love BTS and have a bias toward BigHit Music, less so HYBE. In my opinion, ARMYs that boycott NJ and blame the members aren't real ARMYs because in blaming NJ they are snubbing the values put forth by BTS. The overwhelming response when I express this opinion is "you can't tell anyone who to stan" (like what?) and that NJ have publicly declared a side and are therefore as guilty as MHJ. If someone wants to defend HYBE and plug their ears to any rationale defending NJ members, that's fine, but don't call yourselves ARMY at the end of the day because that's just being a hypocrite. Should idols be held accountable for their actions? Yes, but not if they're children pinned under the skewed power imbalance of a manipulative narcissist like MHJ. Talk about victim blaming and a total lack of critical thinking.

New Jeans were really young when they debuted, but most of them are adults now. None of them are kids. Not everything is black and white. 1. NJ are the victims and right now it will be very difficult to be in their situation. It is clear that MHJ has sought out young, easily manipulated people and is taking advantage of them. The worst thing is the fans who defend her saying that "they know better what they are going through" or that "she looking the best for the girls", and they seriously think that the lady is worried about the girls. They even seem to be more fans of her than of the girls, they even agree with MHJ that they are famous only for her and not for her talent, without her they are nothing. Having fans like that, who needs enemies... 2. MHJ is a textbook narcissist. She has bought time, although she has held a press conference as if she had already won the legal battle, when that measure was only the beginning. I'm sorry I can't with her. 3. The person in charge of finding songs for the girls is clearly not doing her job well, she is not giving them good enough songs compared to her qualities. 4. Poor Fromis, it is clear that they want them not to renew. 5. Come on, there are many fans who claim that their idols are given few lines (I mean in general, of course there are exceptions) and they make protests, but when they then do a terrible encore, because clearly they are not at the level of their team mates, then it's the nerves.... It's one thing to mistrate and another to give the artist parts in a song according to his talent, which is what often happens.

I think Work was okay, Ateez is a very talented group hence why it's one of my ults. However, the switch from the last trilogy was a bit too rushed like l was expecting so much more from them tbh because for me Ateez is that group that always out does itself but this time l feel as though it's lacking. I prefer their song Empty box instead of Work.

Personally Work is my new FAVE title track as it was incorporating all of what ateez is known for as the song was a mix of Reggaeton, Hip Hop and Latin pop and true this is different from their past Albums of the Trilogy as it matches their lore. Unlike other artists,as hongjoong said, they already have a lot of their lore planned and they will not change to fit trends but only show diversity within the group’s music. Honestly people who think Ateez dropped the bar with this title track has no idea of ateez and their Lore as each song ties in tho their story and before the Trilogy album, their older albums had a more calm tone even though they are known for hard like songs. Although majority of Atiny love this comeback so I’m not worried ✨✨✨

I agree with you abt the Ateez comeback. People in the comments are saying it’s not a spectacle or statement piece as their previous songs, but that’s the point of it being refreshing. We’re getting a more fun and care free version of the group rather than the dark and in depth concept they tend to lean towards. I feel like if we were to constantly get the same thing from them then the group wouldn’t be labeled creative and innovative as they are now. I understand finding it more simple and not as bombastic as their previous releases but that’s what makes it more surprising and shows their capability to do different concepts. I love that they are having fun with their sound and are experimenting with different genres. Seeing different sides of artists is always a joy. We need more risks in kpop rn and they are one of the few groups that are willing to explore and do it well.

The atinys who are complaining are those that came during the guerilla era. People who came during the wave era are not surprised by this change. I love this album because it gave me so many unexpected surprises. Shaboom, who would expected it to have some Jamaican references mixed with EDM. That best was siiick. The climax of work and blind is chef's kiss. 😘 F*ck Atinys. Will listen to it by myself if I have to.

A lot of the people that are complaining abt the change of sound and style only started listening to Ateez during Guerrilla era and have expected every comeback since to produce the same affect when Ateez has literally been known as the group who constantly switches their sound and style every comeback. Not every song is gonna be a guerrilla or halazia. If we got 20 halazia’s then the group would be stagnant and stuck in a cycle of producing the same thing to achieve the same effect like a lot of other groups are currently doing. It’s okay to not like the album, but to claim that it’s their worst or completely derails from their previous work is invalid. This is the same group that has made songs like Wave and Eternal Sunshine, two songs that many ppl consider to be some of their best. Ateez has a song for everyone. Not every person is gonna enjoy or like the same song and that’s okay. But to act as if this album is a decline of their artistry is insane to me. In my opinion some these people were just holding their breathes waiting for the moment they can speak negatively on them. Bc all this unnecessary think pieces and hate over a mini album is very interesting…

This is the same group that made Aurora,Promise, My Way, Mist, All about you, Too Late, Celebrate and so many songs that have shown that they are very diverse. The hate that eternal sunshine got made me start hating some Atinys. That song was soooooo good. One of their best summer songs. But Atinys couldn't handle grown men in soft colors. This time on this album, their audiences targeting was South America and Jamaica. I think that's also what the fans don't like. Most of them didn't even like Arriba, and yet it's of their best bsides. ATEEZ has always told us that each series will have a different feel to them. Treasure series- kingdom, pirate inspired, Peter pan etc. Fever series- edm, trap, hip-hop, electronic The world series- cyberpunk, edm, synth wave And now with golden hour- laid back, more catchy, and I am predicting more inspirations from different cultures.

@@donttalk372 i came right after bouncy and totally agree. i also predicted that people would say this. they needed to bring it down a notch. if they want to make more guerrillas, they need to give us some contrast or else they'll have no impact. it may not be the style i stanned them for, but it's a refreshing, fun switch-up that i'm sure will really benefit their next comeback.

@@ithoughtiwascishet1316 you have a good point. This album is a good summer vibe from ATEEZ. The last time they gave a full summer album was during the wave era, and a little bit of the Deja Vu era. I'm a huge fan of surprises, and it's good that ATEEZ is giving us a different style. They have been doing this all the time, I don't understand why they (Atinys) are starting to question them right now. I am blinding, shabooming, sirening, empty boxing, and working till the end of summer 🐓🐓. Those who don't want to enjoy the album, it's up to them 🤷

Usually I agree with you but New Jeans are not innocent victims. Minji acted shady mentioning Sejong college (same name as the lawfirm) and was clearly gloating over. That's the context for what happened here. Nobody was telling them to "stand up" to MHJ, but why deliberately thank her twice to embarass Eunchae?

I was really hyped up for WORK since the preview and teasers came out , the chorus was amazing, and indeed it is a good song but not great as I hoped it to be the song was short for me and it sounded a bit unfinished , the song was 2:52 min long ik that it's almost 3 mins so it's not THAT short but all previous title tracks of Ateez were longer than 3:00 mins or almost 4:00min which gave more time to enjoy the song and vibe with it but this time it was short even some of the songs in the album which are bsides are longer (which are bops by the way please give it a listen 🙏) I lowkey thought that Ateez would never join the 2:00 min long song trends but since they did it they did it ig🤷‍♀️ I still like the song just wished if it was a bit longer💕

Rather than go off on some over the top musical tangent and call it "experimental" like everyone else does, Ateez decided to strip back from their usual way. Instead of a mix of genres, they did straight hip hop; instead of multiple beat changes, they did 2 yet made them lush. No soaring vocals or yells of rebellion yet it still felt like an Ateez song. It's catchy and speaks on a subject that the guys has in common with the majority of their fandom: Work. Go to any of the members personal live accounts and you will see them discussing work with Atiny; they complain together, celebrate together, share fears and motivate each other to keep fighting. It is a short but clean song with a good hook and their more bandwagon/shallow fans won't appreciate it which is OK because the guys have a packed summer ahead that they need to concentrate on...WORK

Let me slowly explain how things like Billboard, Itunes, Melon, ect works, they have this system called digital charting, they keep track of things like streaming, digital sales, ect. So let me ask a crazy question and please take your time, If a song is on 2 different billboard charts, Melon, Itunes and remains there for several weeks, M/V breaks a few youtube records and also top 5 trending for 2 days and everything I mentioned can only do all of that from digital or people online, when in your words "entire" online community hated it?

Y’all are so insecure about your fav’s quality of music, you have to bring up sales and streams just to have some justification of a song being “good.” It’s only performing well on charts because of fan’s mass streaming and buying, if you listen to Sh(it)eesh from an OBJECTIVE perspective, it’s terrible.
