i was thrown off by the chorus on first listen as well, but the more i listen to it, it makes so much sense and i really enjoy it. the way the chorus evolves each time, with strings being introduced in the 2nd chorus, then to that epic final chorus, reflects so much on the actual message of the song. that last chorus is so emotional and melancholic, with the verses and chorus meeting. perfect conclusion to the song. has quickly become my overall favourite wayv comeback to date.

Right I don’t think people are actually listening to the chorus to see how it evolves each time throughout the song. It makes it way more impactful at the end that way.

The choruses confused me at first, but now that I know that the chorus is coming I find the song so interesting to relisten to because of all the amazing elements. The strings for the second chorus for example are so unusual and cheeky, fitting that youthful rascal vibe. I've realized that unlike other songs, the star is really the song structure rather than the chorus. The way they incorporate Ten's "I can blame it on the rain" part and the chorus in the bridge are just chef's kiss... I could go on, but it's such an interesting one. Thanks for the reaction!!

I had a similar reaction when I first heard this song. I loved the opening part and wasn't feeling the chorus. Every time I have listened to the song since, I have loved it more. It is a great song. I love how the ending of the song pulls in all the other elements. I think it may be one of their best songs.

The chorus caught be by surprise at first, but I am SO IN LOVE with it now (it's so Neo coded too, love it), and the way this song builds up and takes you through a whole journey with the instrumental development, climax, and release at the end is so amazing, this is definitely one of the Top 10 songs of the year for me. Amazing!!

I know everyone has their own style of music they like to listen to, but it's still strange for me to see how people have completely different opinions about this song. This is definitely my 15th reaction video I'm watching, and the 6th different opinion I've seen. I personally love this song, even though I have a completely different taste in music compared to this, but I just love the way this song sounds; it's strangely amazing to me. Listening it to 2-3 times I'm getting addicted to this song.

the verses makes you reflect on your bad habits, decisions, etc. in the past then the chorus are quite hyped that we can blame those things on our youth. The sound of the hyped chorus seems like isolated but I love how the emotional + hyped sound were combined at the final chorus which gives my ear a satisfactory conclusion which makes me understand the whole music production of this song. Amazing, well produced!

The ride of emotions you had during your first reaction was EXACTLY mine lol I enjoyed watching it. Felt so betrayed by the chorus initially after such a strong stunning buildup in my opinion, but I think they do great bringing it all together at the end. I think the song really does give the feeling of growing and maturing by the end.

Hahaha I really love the chorus tho especially the really high pitch siren sound in the chorus it makes it even more dramatic. But maybe that's because I've listened to it already pre released when they sang it live in English version. But honestly this 9:41 is the best!!! You should check out the English version.

I love the instrumental and what you called the melodramatic sections! On a relisten, the chorus isn’t as jarring. I think the “way too much juice” lyric wouldn’t feel as silly sounding if it wasn’t paired with that high-pitched, rising delivery on juice. Still, I like the ending and would listen to the whole song to the finish, so it stuck the landing

I agree that the chorus is my least favorite part of the song, especially the first one doesn't really seem to match the slow verse. To help you with the names: first verse 1st vocalist with the blonde highlights is Xiaojun, 2nd is Ten, 3rd is Kun. Orange hair rapper is Yangyang, white hair is Winwin, dark hair rapper is Hendery.
