@@virtualissimo As a former clarinet student, too...I wish that in My past when I was a pupil to have such a great opportunity to study and repeat with accompaniament My repertoir at My little finger at anytime as I want to practice. What soft You use to write the scores? And what daw use for the Midi? Or use Noteperformer with You'r notation software?

I create everything in Cubase. I don't know whether it's the best daw on the market but I got used to it. The main advantage for me is using a stave (staff) because making music only in the piano roll would be rather confusing for me.

@@virtualissimo Interesting. Sometimes I planned to write scores in Musescore and export in Midi to a Daw . So in Cubase is a score writing feature>?

If you want to compose music, it's useless to write the notes first in Musescore or Dorico and then export the whole score as a MIDI file to some DAW. Here's my workflow: first I write the notes in the Score editor in Cubase, and then I edit the length of each note and the dynamics in the Key editor.
