I pre-ordered mine the second I saw them, replaced the middle JB with a Jazz, added a Dtuna with a professional setup and it's been my main axe until I finally recently got my Charvel USA Jake E Lee. Great axe for sure.

The headstock is not true to the original and that is enough to kill it for me. I have owned two of the original night swans and they were very nice guitars. Quite a bit different than the other models which is why I liked it. I have had plenty of Kramers from back in the day. My favorite was always the arch top Stagemaster..

Awesome playing man you're from my era, people around here don't want to hear that sruff anymore and that's about all I want to play so I don't even get to play in a band they all want to play Bruno Mars and Prince etc. A few questions I'm used to charvel's andJackson's with a 25.5 scale, how much of a difference will I notice for this shorter scale ? I've never played Les Paul's or Gibson's etc. Also how is the 16 radius fretboard compared to say Jackson is 12 to 16 compound radius fretboard? We are obviously know what it's going to be like from the 12th to the 15th freight what's the late trying to play chords etc say first through the 12th fret? The only thing negative I have to really honestly say about this review it has nothing to do with you but it seems like the addition of that middle slash Neck pickup just muddied everything up clean and distorted. I think if I even attempted to get one of these I would have to change that middle pickup to something else and put a coil tap to see how good it would sound for clean sounds only. I've never had a three pick up guitar either like I said I've never played Les Paul's so I don't know how that middle pickup placement would affect my playing, it might not at all but then again I don't know it might and these aren't readily accessible to play to test them out. The last thing I have to laugh about is what you said about the artwork looking homemade, I'm an artist and right before you said that I'm thinking of myself I could paint this graphic on any guitar LOL, as a matter of fact that graphic may look awesome in several other color combinations. 😁

Yeah, the middle pickup isn’t “great”! I think this would’ve been better with a single coil in the actual neck position. I have so many guitars with varying scale lengths that I don’t really even notice going from one length to another…YMMV! Feel is so subjective. Maybe it feels slightly “slinkier” due to the shorter scale. As far as the radius, I tend to like more flatter radius boards anyway so this is perfectly comfortable to me. If you’re already used to playing stuff like Jackson’s I think you’d be fine with it…not like going from a vintage 7.25” right to a 16”!

Thanks! Which black one…on the top row is an LTD MH-1000 Evertune. The one on the bottom row is a Schecter Sun Valley FR-S.
