Kramer Striker Basic Setup!

Hey Dane, wanted to share a tuning tip for Floyds with you. I find tuning in this order brings everything in tune faster. E-e-b-a-g-d, it seems to balance the trem more evenly.

I honestly don't understand how people struggle to set up Floyd's it really isn't that hard especially these days. There is a wealth of knowledge available online after you have done it a few times it becomes second nature.

I pulled it out. It says they are alnico five there but ceramic in fact the are . All ceramic. I got new pick ups for it but I’ve been too lazy right now. Had a complete knee replacement not quite a month ago and not to Guitars I try to work on. I screwed up so bad I had to find a Guitar Tech course to pick up so I bought a guitar fetish and I just plug-in but I’ve had bad luck with their stuff like doesn’t work

@@Mr_Helper_Mizo It’s ok, it comes with a Floyd Rose Special already so that’s nice. Be prepared to possibly have frets files at the edge, as I’ve held 2, and both had sharp frets. Also, Kramer is known for bad setups, so possibly prepared for that.

Easy fix, see a Floyd Rose Special and proceed to swap bridge.

OK I reset my bridge per your instructions and I broke the a string and the b string good thing I have some open packages that I keep different strains, and I have a mixed set Ernie balls with a pair of Dedoreos

ill never have a guitar with a floyd rose. dont like them hard to work on and and set up. strat trems are fine. they worked for years before this micky mouse stuff came along

Could be a Gen X'er. A lot of them feared the floyd. I got one on my Kramer Focus 6000 and never looked back.
