5:02 the position was actually given as an excercise in the book ‘Practical Chess Defence ‘ by Jacob Aagaard and I even got Qe2! as the right answer

Excellent game! As long as you have the initiative, the minor lags in material doesn't matter. Maybe Kasparov loved his queen in this game. 😁😁

What I find constantly fascinating in chess: on the world-class level, a lost tempo may be enough to cost someone a game, but you can just sac the world and be down a full piece against a world champion and win.

A game for the archives … demolishing the legendary Garry Weinstein as Black after reaching a precarious middle-game position demands nerves and bountiful creativity. Truly masterclass!

Kramnik hasn't been given the credit he deserves. Simply because there are not much people do like positional and technical players.

Kasparov beat Anand. Anand beat Kramnik. Kramnik beat Kasparov. Unfortunately a return match between Kasparov and Kramnik never eventuated.

Hello to all. G.Kasparov never been a chess titan earned the title of world champion. After the famous Bobby FISHER, it was A.Karpov who remained the real World Champion until the early 2000s, and then, for a short period, Kramnink and Anand. And the worthy successor to the famous Bobby FISHER is, without question, Magnus CARLSEN.

Come on man. I don't like kasparov, but you can deny his greatness as a chess player. Those world championships against Karpov, where fantastic. Unless you believe what Fisher said about those matches being fixed !

@@michelpetrus Hello. I read the whole story of the World Champions, as I read the story of the World between A.Karpov and G.Kasparov. And I was degusted : G.Kasparov is a great chess player, it's true, but the never honestly won the title of World Champion ans he never logically deserved it. G.Kasparov had a sinister lobby which stole the title of World Championship matches.....vs A.Karpov..... At least A.Karpov, he, honored chess with his sporting honesty as well his moral conduct... Despite his sinister lobby, and despite his unjust envy and jealousy, G.Kasparov remain in the history of chess, and forever, far bellow the réal Giants of the World of chess : A.Alekhine, Bobby Fisher and Magnus Carlsen. Thank you very much for your intervention. I wish you a good evening and a good night.

Kasparov is a great chess player and the way is he analyses games is so energic and colorful. But as a person, he is not that charismatic and should had avoided going into politics.
