Good little ride. I'd assume they told Mack they didn't really want airtime. Aiming for a family friendly ride. I think water coasters are a nice little concept. I'd love to see a full scale one. With an actual normal coaster length.

Did you try Fjord Explorer at Le Pal? It has a funky layout, with a big overbank and a wave turn, could be a contender for the best European Mack water coaster as well

The title for best water coaster in Europe is getting some competition. Plohn is getting a multi launch water coaster with plenty of airtime. These classic water coasters are always great though. They are super fun.

@@CanobieCoaster I believe so. With el Toro and dynamite they already proved that airtime moments work in this park. A milder experience can already be had on the log flume, so I'm optimistic.

@@CanobieCoaster i would be surprised if that ride was going to be more forceful. But i still think it looks like the most interesting watercoaster in a very long time, there has never been a ride like it.

1:57 Ohh, i've seen a documentary years ago. (not related to this review) Wasn't that a ride, were they miscalculated the hight of the waves and the rafting boats hit a part of the scenary in the test run? I remember something along the lines of: "Engineering is never bullet-proove, thats why we ran those tests". At least thats what they translated. :D Anyway, for this review: I like most of the Mack rides and the watercoasters are my 2nd favorite. 1st is (and always will be) the bobsled coaster. ^-^

Popeyes Bilge Rat Barges at Islands of Adventure. It's in the "making of" documentary of the park. Water levels were higher than expected or something and the raft crashed into the rockwork during initial testing.

Excluding Splash Mountain and Ripsaw Falls, which I know some count, I would say Orlando's Journey to Atlantis.
