You have that have the car completely off the ground. Turn the car on with your remote off. Hold bind on the remote turn it on then pull trigger. Center it. Brake it.then turn right. Then turn left. After that you good

Brand new outcast 8s just got batteries today for it put them in fucking thing won’t break goes by itself reversed when it feels like it

First thing I was do is try to re-bond and re-calibrate everything. If that doesn’t help at that point definitely contact her Rison and they will fix you up

Got 10 runs out of the spektrum smart esc 150 it also fried 2 $50 recievers. Out $250. Only buying Hobbywing ESC now.

@@SaveTITANFALL there’s really no master reset what you need to do is follow this link to the manual you will then follow the steps to go through the settings on your ESC reset each setting back to the factory default and you will be back to where you began but like I said there’s no way to just do a hard reset www.arrma-rc.com/pdf/manuals/K8SDX3Manual.pdf

@@LargeeeScaleLife i think i got it i set up my punch setting to level 5 and i was doing some crazy wheelies. i think i factory reset by holding down 5 sec on set button start it light up red and green and turn off the esc to save the setting..

Just got the kraton 6s v5 and first problem was I lost two screws that attach the steering rods, ok my bad, should of made sure a RTR is properly put together, and today a week later on a fresh set of batteries my esc would just blink red and the servo would just jitter like crazy. Is it the same problem? Should I bang on the bottom?

It could be but it’s an entirely different design system you could try it. One thing I would try is re-binding your ESC and receiver and see if that does anything. Sorry you’re having issues definitely hit her Rison up they should fix you up

@@meatballpudding4312 my servo took a shit, so I replaced it with an aftermarket, made sure my trim settings where set on my radio and did an esc factory settings reset just in case. And it runs like a beast ever since.

Working fine up to this point seems to have fixed it take the top off of your receiver box bang on the bottom of it with a ratchet and then knock around the bottom of the ESC with the end of a ratchet should start working hopefully anyway

Large Scale Life didn’t work for me? This is a brand new truck. Only use for a approximately 20 minutes.. I’m pissed

James Turner I would file a warranty claim with horizon they’ll send you a brand new ESC it’s a pain in the ass And then at that point you can decide whether to put it back in the truck or sell it and buy either a max five or six or whatever you choose

James Turner And yeah man you’re totally justified in being a little pissed off that’s kind of some bullshit by the way if you haven’t already done it put a 20 to spur on that thing it really wakes them up some of the screws and the slide rail that hold the motor in our coded in Loctite a cheap soldering iron really helps with that crank it up set the head of it inside the boat for about 10 minutes let it get it hot in the Loctite will break free that’s how I did mine really helped clean it up really good and put new laptop in it when you’re done

What is the small red & black wire running from the motor to esc?

I think you are talking about the wires that go to the cooling fans on the motor for some reason they’re molded into the jackets of the motor wires.

Can you run a max 5 with the stock motor?

I’m pretty sure that you can honestly I would have to double check the wire sizes going to the motor but I know they will plug right into a max six honestly the factory ESC is a re-branded max six but I think you can plug a five directly in. That’s what I will be putting on mine in the future

Can you show the receiver connected to each wire I accidentally disconnected all of them and don’t know which one is which I put the throttle on the th and steering on str but it kept flashing red

Then you did it correctly look at the top of the receiver you will notice a diagram that will have positive and negative make sure you have the negative wire the black one to the proper side. Also you may need to go through the barn process again and re-calibrate the ESC you can find the steps on KZbin or in the owners manual see if that fixes it
