There's a huge chance that Freya could discover the letter before Kratos does 2. Freya would have noticed Kratos' sudden absence, whereas here they were only notified because Valhalla was breached

In myth - Freya had a husband named Óðr - The freinzed one, the raging. it fits Kratos' story. Spartan Rage and all that. Just as Kratos was called Cruel Striker by the Norns - Farbuti - Father to Loki. So yeah - I would not be surprised if the two of them have a daughter named Hnoss - The Treasure - Also known as 'Sweetheart'. Which is something Freya would very much call any child she is blessed with. Now we might say it might no sense, given their history. But they are gods - Different rules apply.
