This has to be the greatest adaptation I’ve ever seen in video games history. Bro didn’t miss a single detail. From the heavy breathing of the spartan rage to the voices of zeus and gaia when he uses both the sword and the flame powered blades. Insane. I would play this modded version of the Valhalla none stop. This is way way better than the original.

Ok im just going to say my whole thoughts, This is absolutely incredibly in the most genuine way truly the best modern day represention of Greek Kratos that you could Possibly get. I also think this is the biggest peice of evidence for a modern day Remake of the og trilogy with the new games combat and graphics as the rumors ive heard, again thank you for giving us a taste of what a potential remake could be. Lastly the only thing if criticism if any and its just a small touch but the DarkDale preorder handles for the blades would have just been a phenomenal little touch with the brighter gold ring at the end and the bright red wrapping of the handle but thats truly my only criticism Also amazing Touch with bringing back the O stun button prompt instead of the R3 one again thank you for this truly, i honestly think this is what a god of war Trilogy remake should be but hey lets see what the future holds

And i think we might never hear TC Carson once more, so that's another change we need to prepare to. Anyway, as Kratos said, keep your expectations low and you will never be disappointed, right. About the DarkDale handles - this is my favourite handles in the game actually, i love red and gold colours on them, but i decided to use original handles as they fit more to lvl.1 Blades looks. Gold doesn't match the overall look of them on lvl.1 in my opinion, but it's absolutely perfect with every other Blades levels that has gold on them. You will see me using them in my future projects :)

@@CoolSaver As someone who Started with 4 because of their souls like Combat as I got myself ready for Dark Souls 3 I actually perfer the newer games combat instead of the old ones I have beaten 2018 14 times and Ragnarok 6 times but I beat 3 only once as it was way too different in contrast to my usual games and muscle memory and I didn't like the far out camera angle and I hated the puzzles but as someone who isn't a dictator my dream for the remakes is to give us a players the option to play them with either the old school controls and camera angle or the newer games controls and camera angle to make both sides happy And I thought a similar thing about the Handles soo my thought was that the Darkdale handles are more akin to what they were like originally compared to how worn down the blades are over time the Darkdale handles could have been that last remaining bit of their original look thats how I thought of it

@@logrito631 i can totally understand your opinion, i also like souls-likes and i like the new combat (honestly, the more i play it - the more i like it, it's really good). It's just that i grew up on classic GoW, and that hack'n'slash gameplay and those zoomed out panoramic shots of the areas with tiny Kratos, showing the scale and epicness - it's just closer to my heart. Same goes for the soundtrack - new is awesome, i never denied that, but Classic Soundtrack is still my favourite :)

Thanks, happy to see you like it so much! About buttons, you can remap them in the game settings, there's a section that's called exactly that - "button remapping". So, just switch R3 and O, and it will be showing O above enemies. There's an alternative way without remapping, but the game will require you to hold O instant of just tapping it, so it's not that convenient. Anyway, just check the settings, and you will find it.

That is why the greek saga ost is way superior than norse. But keep in mind it was intended by developer to suit with Kratos as he was a calm person now. But they bring it back on Valhalla greek area ost.

Bear did an amazing job though, especially considering he was the only composer (please correct me if i'm wrong) for both games. Some particular themes can easily compete to me with the Greek themes, they are really, really good. I even named one "The Valour of Sparta" for myself to match already existing "... of Sparta" themes, because i like it so much. But overall Greek music is just special to my heart. And i also love the mysterious and ominous ambient from the old games, i think in this regard, Greek music IS 100% superior. Norse ambient is nice, but that's everything i can say about it. It's not that memorable and unique (unless it's a part of something bigger, like Kratos' or Valkyries' theme) as the Greek ambient was, and in comparison feels kinda generic and dim. Maybe i'm asking for too much, considering how many ambient music needed for games that big, or how much different is tone of an adventure now, but it is what it is. Greek ambient provided the best atmosphere for the mythological adventure in the ancient times on uncharted lands (talking about Pandora's Temple and the Isle of Creation specifically here). I hope this atmosphere will return one day. Maybe another adventure in foreign and mysterious lands accompanied only by Mimir to keep the tone closer to GoW2? Please, Santa Monica? 😅

Found compilations here on YT, try searching Kratos voice lines or sounds. I mixed a few of them, as some has unique sounds to the others. Still not all the sounds though, i think i might need to record some in-game later.

It's okay, bro, you can make it, don't be ashamed to try it on the lowest difficulty, we all have different limits and available time to practice, and that's okay, that's why there is so many difficulty options. If you still struggling though even there, try to read some in-game hints about enemies and combat mechanics, or watch some tutorials and combo vids, there's plenty to learn and make the game easy for yourself 😉

Did you beat Valhalla to the end credits? These arenas unlocks with progression, you can find entrances every run after that. Actually, boat and desert require some progression, but not full completion.
