Thank you man! Not single handedly though, lots of people in our GoW community making the case for it. I think one of the best examples is @fallb0rn, he did a lot of good stuff bringing old Kratos back, check the description for details.

It's not just the music that makes for the best argument, it's the gameplay itself. Remake/reboot era GOW does not share the camera and jump moves with the classics, among other features. Remakes of the classics would be nice, but I don't think everyone will enjoy them if the devs insist on keeping the tired over-the-shoulder cam.

Can we all just appreciate how norse gow games explains and expand's on kratos's rage and how it empower's him. It was only briefly explained in ghost of sparta. But other than that, all of it only makes kratos more badass and powerful.

@@Nexuswalnut33 well i'm not sure about explains, but expands - yeah, surely. Being angry is now legitimately his super power :) Actually yeah, good point, i think it never been emphasized before, that he's getting stronger from his own rage, i mean, in the original trilogy all the "Rage" modes were actually given powers and weapons, and only in GoS he activated his very own Nuclear Rage Mode (which is one of my favourite moments in the franchise, and i hope the devs will not forget about it) (you still can argue that it's just an upgraded version of Thera's Bane, but anyway, he upgraded it himself to a ridiculous level due to being pissed so much). And i like how now, in GoW (2018), he talks how rage can be a weapon, if you can use it, and then we literally see him using it a short after, putting his axe away, using only his fists and the energy, that the rage gives him, while his body covers in flames and veins. So yeah, they definitely expanded on the whole "Rage" theme of the Rage Mode.

As always, the effort in this video is truly a love letter. The highlight for me has to be 11:25 that sync was sick as hell. And that transition from young kratos to old was very clever I hardly noticed the change. I cant wait see what cool stuff you got cooking for the next part. 10/10 will watch again ❤

Really, many thanks ❤️ Your comments always makes me smile, thank you for sharing your thoughts, such a positive feedback means a lot :) About 11:25, are you talking about how they call their weapons and hit each other simultaneously? If so, that was entirely intentional unlike many other cool combat moments lol. I wanted to highlight the similarities in their weapons, and doing such mirroring i think did it's job, and also it wasn't really hard to make, as Thor is scripted to do this attack in the beginning of the phase (of course i needed to restart a lot, but the fight is segmented, so it wasn't that bad).

@@CoolSaver Yeah even in your ragnarok war video there were plenty of moments like that, you manage to make the synchronization between the impacts/strikes and the music pretty cinematic. Oh yea I clapped when you did the og death screen throwback very good stuff. Btw, if you don't mind some very small criticism, in some cutscenes or when dialogue is spoken the music gets a tad little bit too loud and kinda drowns out the words a bit. Other than that, just solid work brother.

@@Robdrummerkid yeah i see, i already replied about volume to one of the comments, i think i made a bid on epicness too much, but personally i can recognise the problem only in the last phase (so it'll be great if you can point on specific cutscenes with this problem, because you already the second person telling that, but for me balance in the cutscenes is alright, so i want to know which balance you prefer, where do you think it needs tuning), Thor just kinda starts to shout his phrases a bit quietly (music level was the same as before), i noticed it and made some of the important ones louder, but maybe i needed to crank it all up. Anyway, thanks for pointing that out, i'll keep it in mind for the next vids.

@@metalsector1751 there's actually a similar armor in Ragnarök's NG+, but i wanted to give him the most classic look possible (and also didn't want him to change armor mid transformation)

Thank you, bro! Yeah, all the damage taken was intentional for more lore-accurate fight. I even tried to show Kratos' abilities to quickly learn his opponent, as he deals with Thor's moves more and more effectiently as the fight goes. It was a lot of fun to make it, glad you liked it :) Any music peaces catched your ear? I mean, you probably heard some of them for the first time, got anything especially noteworthy to your taste?

@@xerx777 lmao, i was tweaking the volume up and down so many times, trying to make it loud but at the same time not too loud, kinda funny i still made it too loud 😂 But also i think i just got used to overly loud music, because the first thing i do when i start any new game is toggle the music volume up.
