I overpitched the yeast on the stout tonight.... put about an ounce of yeast in... sitting at 28 centigrade and spewing out tons of froth out of the s trap... did this beer end up tasteing ok or was it screwed??

oh it was great, one of the best beers I have ever had. I have two more batches waiting to get started. right now I have a 6 gallon Cooper's Dark Ale with a can of Briess Dark LME and about 500 grams of DME, which had a huge krausen head on it after a few hours, it came to just below the top of the lid with the krausen collar on it but has settled down now. It doesn't smell like the Winter Dark from Mr Beer though, I was kind of hoping it was the same recipe considering they are the same company, or maybe the Briess changed the aroma. Pitched and fermenting at about 22C with only the 7 gram ale yeast pack. Glad those FV's have plenty o head space. I just ran through two batches of the Irish Stout from Mr Beer and they didn't erupt but I didn't over pitch and I fermented at about 20C for two weeks, they were very yummy, a lot like Guinness. I also have two LBKs fermenting with an Oktoberfest Lager and a Czech pilsner. Nothing conditioning at the moment...I got lazy and ruined my pipeline :( lol.

coopers brewery is about 40 miles from where I live good south australian beer, most south aussies drink coopers pale ale or sparkling ale on tap at the pub or thru the bottle very popular most definitely the most popular brewery in all of south australia with the coopers home brew range coopers real ale is the closest thing to sparkling ale and pale ale as far as taste goes coopers dark ale on tap is super sweet on tap extra malty most definitely add extra malt that's fairly accurate to what they serve in the pub down here very dark and heavy like stout 3 or 4 pints of that is a very good night really hits the head like a ton of bricks coopers is the number 1 poison down here

ImMADasAMeatAxe I have 2 cans of Cooper's IPA and 2 cans of English Bitter. I am thinking about doing toucans with both, I am a hophead. I also have a can of Cooper's Cerveza that I think I will mix with the Mr. Beer Cerveza that I have and maybe and add some dextrose. I tried the Cooper's Lager and didn't much care for it, mixed it with the brew enhancer that came with it. The Cooper's Wheat is pretty good, I added orange peel and coriander and extra wheat malt. I do want to try the Cooper's Real Ale. I like dark beers mostly though. A good chocolate porter or Irish stout hits the spot any day.
