KrawlZone // Rock Crawling the Rusty Nail

KrawlZone.tv took on the Rusty Nail Trail with friends at Poison Spyder Customs and Rebel Offroad, for the 2011 Easter Jeep Safari in Moab Utah. Join the adventure as we do some rock crawling along this extreme trail to arrive at the Golden Crack and check out the epic view.

One last question I see you have a chop top Cherokee , And usually that modification takes place after a roll and crushing the roof , So I'm assuming you have rolled also despite your use of Three Stpid lugs , Do you have video of that roll was it on Carnage Canyon?

Thx for your feedback. We also like natural sounds. We posted this in 2011. We're doing better about finding a ballance between natural sounds and boredom. Not sure if we're there yet, but still trying to make something that's fun to watch for the most people that like a variety of things. I think you'll like what we have planned for 2019. So i got rid of the 16.5 wheel and tires combo and purchase the TSL with beadlocks and im telling ya those tires really hook up..i would never buy any off road tires but TSL only becuz of the experience that i have with them

you need a manual. if you have a automatic transmission it will try to switch into a nother gear and wont let u keep the speed up.like if you were goin up hill it would kick and could switch gears and breah the traction. the best way to rock crawl is with a manual transmition. hop it helps you.

Yes it's nice to have trails to go to yes keep the trails open!!! here in Vermont were very limited lot of people close a lot of trails especially the Forest Service They've closed down a lot of logging trails. check out our videos on barese420 and houndog 415 we post videos every Sunday even during the winter months check them out for some awesome wheeling

You're trying to sell us on Swamper TSLs MUD TRUCK tires as being great ROCK CRAWLING tires...lol...please...lol...anyway since you seem to basicly be saying the steep climb he rolled on shoulds be a cake walk I'd have guess you have done much steep and may run swampers since you seem to champion them pretty loudly , So I' sure your first flop/roll must have been insanely steep gnarly obstacle like the waterfall on Upper Helldorado , which I'm sure you have some video floating around

I do not care for those general tires they have zero flex even with one inch of the tread on a wall the tire remains flat in the air. Heavy too thick overbuild carcass mean their 35s weigh almost as much as some 40s.

so i am looking to get a WJ 2004. i am going to buy a stock one and do a full build on it. to do moab like in this vid can i do a 4" lift with 33" tires and still do 90% of places like moab?

You should be able to. Anything that really stops you will either be a matter of body size (squeezing a WJ through tight areas is decently harder than putting a Wrangler through the same spot) and angles. You'll also stuff your tires in much quicker so instead of flexing over the obstacle the truck will want to lean and tip it's way on over.

You can only fit some many words in one box ...thus the reason more than one message box , and yes that is the same obstacle infact it looks like the line that you could not make in "part"1... running a trail does not mean your tires are any good ...lol...it just means you ran the trail with shitty tires I mean I could sell my BFG km2s and pick up some Shitty TSL Boogers and run a trail , but I'd be running them with shitty tires ...Swampers are for Mud trucks and Show trucks .

I was curious about this Spring Creek you said you flopped at since you seem to be giving driving/Equipment lessons to the guy who rolled on an obstacle you seem to fashion as not difficult , and after looking around youtube and the internet for trails in colorado named "Spring Creek" I could only find one LAME ASS chicken trail under that name , And if you flopped there then you SIR ! have no business telling anyone what tires to run or how to drive . I watched your video but still find no evidence of TSLs being the fantastic tire you proclaim them to be . after your video there was a video of the same obstacle with a Wrangler YJ one shoting the same obstacle while you seem to ONE DAY it , and with a much larger jeep since he looked to be on 38s and you atleast a 42 and much longer wheelbase, So maybe the day long experience you had finding a way up this obstacle was not the TSL since the smaller TSL on the TJ went right up with that DRIVER

nigga don't hate cuz my Cherokee is better than that flop TJ...and as for the you saying to sell your KM2s and going with Boggers..no that is not the way either cuz my buddy with a Cherokee who's running 40" Boggers and those tires don't hook up either. What im telling you is that TSLs' are the best tires that I've ran We ran the same obstacle over the whaletail at Chinaman Gulch and it took him a very long time to climb over it where I pulled up and one shot over the whaletail...look it up
