TOTALLY with you on this. As a kid growing up in the 80's/90's Jaguar cars meant the world. I sat in an Xjs twice and even got a ride in an XJ6, I remember both as if they were yesterday. As soon as I could, I bought an X Type from a main dealer and was presented with a leaping cat letter opener, which (with great pride) i gave to my grandad, who, even though he had the money for one, didn't dare treat himself to a Jaguar. This brand meant an awful lot to alot of people. THIS does not represent that brand. I'm not sure what this is, but it sure isn't an advert for a British performance car brand. Goodbye Jaaaaaaag, you are no more 😢

I had the absolute joy to have the loan of my ex bosses jag xjr ex Manchester police pursuit car. It went like stink and felt like you got home ten minutes faster keeping to the speed limits and just on acceleration. It was an absolute beauty. I myself could only afford a 2.5 daimler mk 2 whist he owned the real deal. I know exactly how you feel chilli. I remember sitting in the back of my uncles XJ12 it was a brilliant car. I used to play with the electric windows , thinking it was great!. It was a fast car I remember my auntie telling him off because he was doing 80 , he said it didn't feel like it as the engine was so quiet! Back then in 1982 a Jaguar was a great car , I said I would get one when I grew up. I still haven't had one though I still have my toy Jaguar XJS the car I promised my self when I could afford one!

I totally relate to your video and how upsetting this is. I have also been a life long Jaguar lover having got my first very second hand XJ6 Series 3 aged 26 for £1200.00 .It was a big moment in my life and I adored it. I find it interesting how many people have come out as loving the brand as I was as ridiculed for many years for owning old man's cars. I guess now I will be ridiculed for being something else now.....PS Selling my 1960's MK2 is not going to happen however damaging their marketing policy is.

I am absolutely shattered with what has now happened to Jaguar. I very much admired Jaguars. Jaguar as now no more. The "new" Jaguar from here on is now a wholly different entity, that has nothing to with the previously Jaguar. I will never buy a new Jaguar, plus I will never buy a new Land Rover, nor Range Rover, which are all part of the JLR Group. They are cancelled.
