I really appreciated the choice of organ and registration for this performance, which beautifully highlights Krebs’ gentle chromaticism. Lovely phrasing and articulation too. Thank you.

Thanks, Markus. Yes, Krebs was clearly inspired by JSB with the chromatic parts.

Hello Ralph, a beautiful piece by J.L. Krebs. I am very happy to hear this one. I just realized it's been 9 years since I last played it. It's an incredibly intense piece, that's how I feel about it. Thanks very much!

I appreciated your performance of this masterfully composed chorale prelude which I had not heard before. The accompaniment is quite a wonderful composition in itself. The plaintive Vox gives a unique colouration to the chorale melody. It is certainly unusual to hear one capable of being used alone without another 8 foot.

Thanks for listening! This is a gem of an organ indeed, hopefully the bigger brother of the same church will be soon available for Hauptwerk soon.

Even before I listened to your rendition I had a feeling you would use this weeping Vox Humana stop. Bravissimo Ralph!
@RalphLooij2 жыл бұрын
I simply can't avoid that beautiful stop, even when the Vox isn't available on the small Riepp anymore.
