@ that was only for 2 characters. Every other character was free upon release. The ow battle pass also offers more than the apex and valorant one. And paladins for that matter.

@@SocialExperiment232 Not really, most free-to-play hero shooters require you to grind some sort of currency to unlock heroes. Valorant had the "contracts" you had to grind. Apex had legend tokens to unlock legends, Rainbow Six Siege had credits for their operators, etc. It's very rare for every hero in a free-to-play hero shooter to be unlocked the second they are released.

Players of both OW and Paladins are able to see that Rivals took concepts of each game and made it their own thing. For example, play Hawkeye and you can clearly see Hanzo and Genji (to a much lesser extent), but also how much like Sha-Lin he is.

I would like to see this become a series. Where you learn the characters and their mechanics/techs and become better and better with them over time. That's something I would want to watch, but I'm not sure if most people would want to watch that. Although, it doesn't hurt to try.

I loved paladins. Put in 434 hours in my day. Started out as a grohk main and switched to koga one day, never went back. My favorite thing about paldins was the loudouts and in game purchaseable power ups/skills. Amazing game.

Yesterday i played for the entire night with Moon Knight, Hela, Hawkeye and Black Widow(Im only good from keeping the distance).Such a fun game. I suspect there will be a lot of buffs and nerfs in the next week but that would be expected for a brand new game

Galacta is Galactus' daughter from a one-off short story. The "ice girl" is Luna Snow, who was created for a Marvel game, not the comic books. I'm pretty sure they included her because there aren't a lot of Korean characters available, and Amadeus Cho would have been a little redundant with regular Hulk. ======= The original Iron Fist is a blond guy. The character was created in the 1970s to cash in on the kung fu movie craze. Iron Fist is a title that can be passed on, and this version of Iron Fist is a Chinese guy, probably in an attempt to appeal to the Chinese market. The developer is Chinese. ======= Gwenpool is a pretty nutty character in West Coast Avengers, which in general has a much goofier tone than the regular Avengers. There was supposed to be a running gag in which Gwenpool periodically showed up with a different pet and each pet would be named Jeff. The thing is, fans instantly fell in love with Jeff the Land Shark, so he became a recurring character. Sometimes he lives with Gwenpool, and sometimes with Kate Bishop (Hawkeye). If you watched the Hawkeye TV show, you know how Kate Bishop is with pets. ======= Magik is the little sister of Colossus (X-Men). As a young child, she was kidnapped by the demon ruler of Limbo (Belasco), and basically spent her childhood there. She has a mutant power to teleport, but in Limbo, she was forced to become a powerful sorceress and dabble in demon magic just to survive. By the time she hit her teens, she conquered all of Limbo and became Sorceress Supreme of Limbo. From the perspective of the X-Men, she was kidnapped as a young child, and instantly re-appeared as a teenager with strange demonic/magical powers. ======= Yes, Namor and Aquaman are similar, but Namor was published first, so if anything, Aquaman is the knockoff. Namor never got the same goofiness stigma that Aquaman did because he's a much bigger a**hole, while Aquaman was saddled with that presentation of him in those Saturday morning cartoons. Namor is one of the first Marvel superheroes from back when they were still called Timely Comics. ====== Peni Parker is from the comics, although her comic book robot is MUCH larger. She's basically a trap-based anti-dive off-tank.

To be fair The new Iron Fist has been in the comics for a few years now Danny Rand died and this is the successor, previously he was a different hero named Swordmaster but he took up the Iron Fist mantle after Danny died, and as for Luna Snow, while she was created for a mobile game she has since appeared in some comics

The game just came out and not everyone played hero shooters before, you know. A lot of people is playing just for the characters and it's normal for them to play 'badly', dear veteran. I was one of them, first time I played Jeff I did the same as that person. Now I know how to play him. But what I did way better than most was read the menus with more attention.

It was a bit too long for an intro in my opinion and you sounded a bit more slower then usual. i think doing fast intros will benefit you more for capturing new viewer attention as they would be more interested in how the game plays while keeping your first impression thoughts at the end of your first couple of matches. anyways good to see you back mate

I agree, far too long and kept rehashing the same information over and over. it was easy enough to skip to the actual gameplay. Once I got to the actual content it was enjoyable and I plan to watch more marvel rivals content from u. Of course u can do whatever u want cause it's ur content but im sure the unnecessarily long intro turned many potential viewers and subscribers away.

I used to grind golden skins in papadin by playing against bots, and everytime i entered a real match with a gold skin people would focus me because they though i was good at the game LOL

Blue stone can be used to buy cosmetics u grind it for free via achievements or challenges, Purple Stones are for battlepass to redeem 1 by 1, Orange stones are the one u buy with real money

For some one talking about what came first the ch and hero abilities for paladin came from their previous game Global Agenda (2005 game), so no paladins was way ahead in this then overwatch

Now I've been playing this game for about 7 days pretty much straight. It's the only game I've been playing. And I'm realizing that I should have played some of these hero tutorials. Because I'm learning things that I didn't know.😂 I did not know you can charge your ult as Bruce banner by throwing your grenade at your feet.

I tried this game the other day (by tried I mean I spent 4 hours in the shooting range testing all the champions and then did 2 training games XD). I'll probs try it with a friend, and I'm trying to keep an open mind about it, but it really seems like Overwatch, and I really dislike overwatch, I mean I tried it like in 2018 when I was balls deep in Paladins, and when I tried OW over like 3 days for every thing I was "that's nice and all but Paladins did it better". Haha that's why I clicked the vid to see your experience with the game, as another person who's done Paladins in the past. Now as I said I'm keeping an open mind I'm not gonna form my opinion based on a couple games against bots where I was completely lost, but at least the first impression on me wasn't great.

This game attracts a lot of casual players, including very young people. I'm not sure how avoiding players work, but, if it is like OW, it shouldn't be a problem.

Bro you can barely get a full match in quick play without bots in Paladin's anymore, and that's doing a vs AI match. Make the switch bro. You got a lot done in Paladins, more than most. But it's run its course, and I think a lot of people are looking for content in this game in particular. You don't have to give it up, and maybe you can bring a new audience to it. But this is a good chance with a fun game.

Only people that are complaining about rivals is because all the melee type characters and the fact that Last Gen Can't run it, real ow enjoyers see marvel as good for ow as ow had no competition. blizzard has been getting lazy and its clear they only care about money and they don't want to anger their investors anymore, the "events" they've been releasing such as MHA WoW Transformers BCRF Porsche that's 5 whole "events" just to sell you on overpriced skins the last actual event they had that wasn't just reusing old content was in April over half a year ago.

@@Kreepers fr I'm glad that marvel rivals is out cuz ow reportedly had like 16k players which is crazy compared to their 20m monthly players, marvel just stole overwatch's christmas. hoping it stays this way cuz the devs keep assuming the game is good bc more people are playing ow when it's just new players and alts, the amount of cope and ignorance the dev team has and it doesn't help a lot of creators aren't overly negative with the feedback bc they're friends with the devs like awhile back when they did the Porsche event everyone was hush hush so they could get big sponsor streams and get flown out

Please don't say that those beginners are bots. It's funny to see a person that assumes that everyone and anyone played shooters or pvps, or games in general for years of expirience. You played with the beginners, man, not all of them are good, some of them probably never played such games at all. Maybe some of them are kids even. Good for you tho that you are a Paladins Vet, you will be leveled up very quickly and the enemies team will be harder to beat after some time. And if they are a team with communication and strategies it would be even harder to beat them (in case you'll be playing solo and team up with strangers).

I think you are misreading the situation. I didn't call them bots as in they are trash. Most games tend to put you in bot matches at the start, or training matches. And I agree that it should be like that. The first few matches should be calm and a way to introduce you to the game. What they did with this action of not putting them against bots is allowing for smurfs to have fun making the life of newbies miserable.

@@Kreepers Yes, I agree, that at least the 1st match should be educational on top of the tutorials they provide. As far as I know, the bots there have "Computer" or "Bot" in their names. Sorry if my comment was rude, guess something got triggered inside me 😔 My inner Support hero got over me 😂 I have a friend that never played such games so they almost always get called a bot and are demotivated to continue playing.
