I had the exact same idea while playing this game. I want to be able to see the map while in the rewards screen to see what is coming up next. Too many times I healed instead of taking the money just to get a campsite and get screwed.

I played the Wight campaign a little bit ago!! Very pleased to see Tom taking those knights, they served me VERY well! Not so sure about the bats though, they tended to get wiped a little too easily. Not usually without hitting back pretty hard though. And they heal a LOT better than the knights, so who knows? Maybe they ended up getting me more money. Let's see how Tom does!

Looks like he actually made some really good plays with those bats, getting enemy units to turn their backs on incoming charges! Clever!

Bats are almost exclusively for tempting the AI into a disadvantageous position which makes them tied for most powerful unit in the game with every other flying unit

Zombie Giant is S tier. I had a big fight, and it was NOT looking good, but I had an upgraded Zombie Giant that just soaked damage forever against like 3 armies while the rest of my army dealt with the other half of their army. By the time my army got around to supporting the Zombie Giant, he had practically won that half of the fight by himself. Just an insane battle really.

There are several units with the "rotting stench" key word. I think the rat-kin abomination might also have it? Or at least it can learn it? (have to check again) It makes them AMAZING tanks. Re-roll all successful attacks against this unit? yes please, and thank you!

The unkillable stink giant is amazing. I just wish there was a way to give him +1 combat resolution to make up for how rarely he deals damage

@@Delaterius Give him the +1 Skill option when it becomes available during level up. Going from 2 skill to 3 Skill makes a world of change! Or you can focus on giving more Wounds/Hp, for maximum tankage XD 11Wounds Zombie Giant, anyone?

Tom, you can now press X and C to see charge ranges even while moving so you can undo your movement if something doesn't line up. Also, if you press shift+X/C, you can see ranged attack ranges for both teams

I got this game thanks to Tom, and I can't stop thinking about how to strategise in this game since playing a few games. I've lost all of them. Furthest I've gone was the Act 2 final battle. But after watching Tom's videos (like this one), I need to up my game.

it hurts me to see him not taking the dwarf D: he is insanely good because he can just constantly fly behind people and shoot them, and he is a machine which means he can buff himself.

Yeah, I have tried it too - it's AMAZING against single melee units, especially with the movement upgrade, because it can just keep flying over and behind them and keep shooting them.

It's definitely still worth charging them in the back Tom. There was a recent update causing the enemy group to not get an attack role on the turn you charge them in the rear, so you get a free round of damage!

My Wight campaign went to shit. The I feel like the Necromancer is so strong for the undead. Healing units beyond their starting size s amazing, and debuffing is so useful.
