One of the greatest of all times, a true man, an honest man, a talented man, a man who gave people love, laughter and happiness. A man who will forever be more than a rainbow to me but I will definitely see him with each rainbow I am blessed to see at the age of 73. 🌈 He will be missed by more people than some of us will ever know our whole lifetime! Rest in Paradise, Kris, sing with the Angels. You will be missed and loved forever more.

I simply loved the man. I was so fortunate to get to see him live at the Kentucky Theater, one of the highlights of my life. They will never be another Kris Kristofferson. Rest In Peace Kris

One of my favourite human beings of all time, although time was getting on and he couldn't perform anymore hearing of his passing was still a shock and very sad news. The words and melodies Kris Kristofferson crafted, will be in my mind for the rest of my life, and play for generations to come.

Willie Nelson saying Kris is one of the best songwriters ... come on.. Willie a great songwriter himself giving credit where credit is due. Kris Kristofferson.. I'm truly heartbroken that Kris has passed.. RIP to a legend

I remember sawing him from films like Dolphin Tale 1 & 2 (2011-2014) and in Joyful Noise (2012) . R.I.P. Kris Didn’t know that he wrote Me & Bobby McGee which was famously recorded by Janis Joplin

As we know, Barbra originally wanted ELVIS PRESLEY to play her foil in 'A Star Is Born', but he turned it down, too close to home, we think. KRIS did a fab job, and the rest is history. So long sweetheart! RIP

He was established as a songwriter, but it was starring with Streisand in _A Star is Born_ that catapulted him into the stratosphere. Shortly thereafter, a few more hits came along, but unfortunately, he was really able to keep the momentum going.
