Kris Kristofferson & Scott Joss - OKIE FROM MUSKOGEE (Nuremberg 06/20/18)

Kris on tour in Europe accompanied by three of Merle Haggard's band, the great musicians Scott Joss, Doug Colosio and Jeff Ingraham. Kris seemed to really enjoy the performance as well as everybody on stage. He was overwhelmed by the standing ovations at the end. Kris was doing only three concerts in Germany, this was the last one before traveling on to London and then to Northern Ireland.
I hope it wasn't my last chance to see him...

Doesn't Scott sound a bit like Merle? ;-)
I've always loved this song, especially Kris's answering verse.
Not "the worst song Merle ever wrote, has written", but pretty ironical and funny, I would say.

i`m going to see and hear Kris here in Norway june 5 , it`s going to be amazing. <3 After 27 years i`m finaly going to see him live for the first time ,yes it going to be fantastic. <3

Saw him live in Castlebar, Ireland a few hours ago, He's doing extremely well for 82 years old
