I was 18 and watching Saturday Night Live at my Nana's in Cupertino when she tore up the picture of the pope. If you've never seen her at Bob Dylan's tribute about to sing War and Kris Kristofferson comes up to her at the mic and says, "don't let the bastards get you down" because the audience is booing her, you need to watch it.
