awesome video as alwsys! we need a video of how to clean a katana propertly will all the process just right after using it after doing some practice cuts, can we wash it with water to clean all the cutting rests and then just continue with the standard cleaning?

I will probably trigger alot of people I just wipe it down and let it patina. I only sharpen my blades I don't need them to be high polish 😅

Did your snaggletooth come with the screw to use the factory stud on the cold steel? If not contact Snaggletooth!! 🤜🏼🤛🏼

Yo I didn't even think of that. I used the hex stud to get a better purchase with the vice grips but yeah it came with a punch of sets of screws. Thanks for the suggestion sensei

How do you like the Black Talon versus the Yojumbo? I have a the Black Talon and it seems devastating as a defense knife.
@VeganJutsu2 жыл бұрын
Black Talon is probably the meanest knife on the streets. I'm also a fan of the Voyager Kris XL. The Yojumbu although stunning is quite short.

@@annodomini7250 dude, I carry a knife for work. I use it every day, and it gets dull every day because of that fact. Why in the fuck am I gonna try to defend myself with an ineffective weapon. I live in an area of California that makes it almost impossible to carry a firearm legally, if I could I would.

To me the advantage of having it open slightly faster is offset by having it pinched precariously between your fingers and the added time of having to readjust your grip
@VeganJutsu2 жыл бұрын
In my testing, dropping a cherry tomatoe and cutting it before it falls from draw. Nothing is faster than a wave style deployment. If you can perform faster I'd be willing to try your method.

Even when they work correctly; aftermarket “waves” like these have some drawbacks. E.g. they interfere with the blade’s ability to most effectively pierce a target. I prefer to just skip introducing that additional point of potential mechanical failure, and instead flick my knives open with my thumbs. I’d rather depend on myself than a couple little pieces of aluminum clamped to the blade. Ymmv
