Dang the crowd was feelin kriss Kross but they were everything back then. The audience even started singing back to kriss Kross. It must've really made the boys feel good to have such a positive yet powerful response for the music they were delivering. Chris Kelly looked sooo happy on stage and he projects a strong force and Chris Smith emanates such a thoughtful sweet soul. It's interesting now perceiving them as an adult vs the young girl I was living in Georgia then and crushing on them.

So sad to watch Chris Smith's evolution from TKO to DB and finally YRD. He was pumped and such a great perforner on the debut. As the albums went on he seemed to be going more and more with the motions. You could CLEARLY tell he was done on YRD. He seemed much less into the interviews, bored and passive agressive. Mainstream was not his "thing" after he hit puberty. I also believe they were very much so abused, perhaps satanic ritually but he was least susceptible to the programming. CK was the natural performer and clear natural rapper. Both are good performers. RIP Chris "Mac Daddy" Kelly. 💖

I don't think most people met or seen Chris's mother nor have Chris stated that he is biracial. That, I believe is only an assumption that some people tend to make. Just saying light skinned black people do exist. I should know...I'm one of them LOL. The reason why I mentioned Chris's song is because biracial people usually don't mention black without mentioning white or somewhere in between, since they tend to keep it neutral. Spilberg doesn't apply since he's in a category all of his own. Lol.

His mom is white. Her name is Angela Smith. You can find the interview done with both of their mom's online, there are even pics. Instead of ASSuming this is a life, why don't you look it up. It takes very little research to find this information out. Thumbs down. I am also going to take the liberty of posting a link to the pics on your comments page and inbox, so check it out.

Anyway, you must do some good research because I only saw one photo of Angela Smith and I told you what she look like to me...so I'm looking forward to your information.

It's quite obvious that you've never met Chris Smith's mother or/and don't know her personally hence the reason why you're adamant that she isn't white. Chris actually IS biracial (white mother/black father), and why it's so far-fetched to you that he actually dedicated/wrote a song to/about prominent black women although his mother is white is beyond me. Is it also hard for you to believe that Steven Spielberg directed The Color Purple?

I didn't understand what your point was at first when you mentioned Spielberg, until you mentioned how he caught slack for directing black films. Well that's exactly my point. People in this society tend to make everything controversial. I didn't see what was wrong with Jaden Smith playing in the Karate kid, did you?...and what was the big hoopla over Avatar? The bottom line is people may or may not find his song controversial. The good thing about it is that he don't give a f...
