Not true. I did a documentary on them. After 1996 they had issues with JD on creative differences. Their is an album of all unreleased stuff online. I talk to nabs all the time about them and I know 3 people who went to school with them. Chris smith wanted to take a break and he stopped showing up to shows in 97.

I was really hoping these guys would make it to a ripe old age. I was around 21 when these guys came out and I really loved them. I wish that everything had turned out better for both of them. I’m glad that Chris Smith is still doing OK.

I watched that interview with Dro and I didn’t find it weird. He said they were both in the midst of the addiction and we all know Chris Kelly had an addiction but the difference is Dro made it through. That’s a testimony not bringing him down.
