It is really hard to find people that actually do proper research and look into scientific articles. I am beyond impressed every time Krissy uploads an informative video. People should really focus on including studies that have actual evidence and supports the topic they are covering. Thank you for this video, Krissy

This is what I needed to hear. I’ve been struggling a lot lately on building/gaining muscle even when I’m at the gym 5 times a week minimum. Thank you for your this! I love the way you’re able to explain everything, in a way that it makes it look so much simpler and less intimidating! Makes me feel I can do so much more than what I think I can. Thank you! 🙏🏻❤️🔥

U do daily workout?
@shreyadiwakar95612 жыл бұрын
I needed this video. I've recently started going to the gym, and this is for the first time in my life that I've both hit a gym and lifted weights. I've realized this on multiple occasions how I'm built a little weaker. The smallest amounts of intense activity can give me the nastiest headaches, but I also love being active. Working out is the only thing that makes me feel like my life's on track. My first week at the gym was really good. My instructor was happy with how I was doing and couldn't believe that it was actually the first time I had joined a gym. Cut to the second week and bam! There hits the headache! I was so badly demotivated and disheartened by it, because it didn't just happen on one day, it just kept happening every day from there on. But I think I heard the message loud and clear. Challenge yourself. Don't be disheartened. I know I can do it. And I will do it. Thanks Krissy, I owe you one!
@user-ug2oz8fj1q2 жыл бұрын
Hey, first of all well done for getting started! I’ve only been lifting for a little under 3 months and it’s changed my life too. Honestly, I would visit your doctor about the headaches, or it might be something as simple as dehydration because working out takes a lot out of you. Make sure you’re drinking plenty throughout the day and whilst in the gym. Also make sure you’re eating enough, and before the gym eat a snack and drink some preworkout which will give you energy and a lot of water!

I had to stop the video one hour and about 12 minutes because, just like you were saying to ask “God to change me to change my attitude to change the way you say things, To change the way I act to change my attitude to change me to look more like you Lord. That I don’t like myself” WOW!! I’ve prayed this soooo many times!!!!!! In those exact words!! and honestly it gets frustrating because my anger comes up again, and it’s like I never prayed that. I don’t understand!! I’ll never stop praying that. But my when we he change me??? When will it finally happen??

I'm not super fan of supersets for hypertrophy. If your goal is building muscle, you want to have enough strength and energy to lift heavier, so resting between sets is key for that. Adding a superset with a jump squat will just burn your legs and make your tired, with no benefice for hypertrophy. Unless your goal is muscular endurance or you're short in time, it's not the optimal thing to do.
