I definitely agree with the beauty. I often talk about things that bring me joy, but it is the same idea. It’s the reason I still have my Christmas decorations up; the tree lights make me happy. When I finally take it all down, I may just put some lights around my fireplace to keep the joy flowing. Have a great week!

So many lovely designs, when am I going to find the time to stitch all the ones I want?! Your new table runner design with the muted colors is calling to me, and your pomegranite is adorable. I understand what you mean about the theraputic value of beauty in our daily routine. I especially like items that I have created myself such as quilts and cross stitch pieces (whether framed or as pillows and table linens). When I see them I remember the pleasure of making them. Or when I see things others have made, a doily crocheted by my grandmother, a tablecloth embroidered by a great aunt, it brings back pleasant memories of them and brightens my day. Thanks, Krista.
